Mac the Knife
Got the following graphic in an e-mail from a local pizza establishment... A neat rip-off of the logo for Super Bowl XLIII.
Cujo
Better than the original! (But the yard lines still need to be fixed.)
phutmasterflex
Is that legal? Go A's!
TheOldRoman
Is that legal? No. The "big game" term, however, still is. The NFL went to court to try to copywrite that phrase relating to the Super Bowl, but it was shot down. I understand and support the NFL wanting to put the hammer down on any pizza joint or furniture store running "Super Bowl" sales because it infringes on their property, but they need to get over themselves with going after the "big game" "super Sunday" and other such terms being used. Fox
Looks nice. And it reminds me of how much I miss that superbowl logo.
wyopokes2
Interesting you should post this because there is a line on football fanatics for every bowl winner that is a ripoff as well. I was going to start a thread for it but it works perfectly here.

A neat rip-off of the logo for Super Bowl XLIII.Wow, why even go through the trouble of making it say "The Big Game" if you're just gonna rip a SB logo anyways? Might as well just say, "Yeah, we're gonna have pizza deals running during THE SUPER BOWL. Deal with it." @josh_j12 CFA- Fargo Bobcats
