2013 MLB All-Star Game BP Jerseys:

I'm sort of bummed that the blue isn't the National league one, though I suspect that may be because the orange is different than the Mets new blue alts, and since they're hosting it they may sell more...

I like them though.

Wish the skyline was white on the blue jersey.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

You just know they're running out of ideas though at this point for them. There's only so many ways you can change what basically amounts to a shirt.

Here's an idea for them: stop forcing the same ugly colored-armpit designs on every team and let them design their own BP jerseys again.

I really think they try to put too many items/elements in theses marks anymore. This causes the overall mark to be short in height and difficult to read at a distance. They should focus on a nice simple script. Maybe the National League could use a similar script to what the Mets currently use, while the American League would have the road tiffany style font that the Mets use.

Agreed. It's an "over complication" of what should be a simple graphic element.
