New Division 1 & WAC member, Grand Canyon University, officially released their new logos a few days ago. A much needed improvement IMHO.

What do you expect from a school named after a hole in the ground that's 400 miles away from campus?

The college sports traditionalist in me weeps for the WAC having to scrape the bottom of the barrel and invite a crappy for-profit institution into their once-respectable conference.

The logo is an improvement on what they had before... not that it's saying much.

I agree illwauk. I'm a Idaho Vandals fan and I hated to see what happened to them and the WAC. It was such a great conference. I blame Boise State for all that happened. :P

Could someone please update the GCU logos on the site with these new ones?

Sorry for bumping this, but I wouldn't call Grand Canyon a crappy University. After going there for a semester(left due to being accepted to ASU the next semester), I have learned how under rated of a University GCU is. One of the best nursing, arts and teaching colleges in the west. Of course it is a For-Profit school, but it is also a respectable institution in the State of Arizona regardless of the "for profit" tag they have.
