  1. Nike takes care of the women's team pretty well. The men on the other hand, they are last in line. To be fair, until the 2022 cycle the men hadn't been close to making it in. I also think with this kit group, Nike decided that now was the time to take some chances with a team, and I'm sure Canada was on board, especially seeing how far in the red the organization overall is. It's why the Canadian team had a better uniform in Ted Lasso than they had in real life at the time. I'm fine with the USA keeping navy for the badge and swoosh while using a slightly different color for the rest of the uniform. Personally, I think the blue that they use should be a closer match to the US flag instead of going with navy blue. I think if both kits used the same patterns as the away kit for 2024, Canada would be one of the best overall looks this cycle. Instead the stacked logos and numbers will be used for the home jerseys, and that's not a good look with that version of the swoosh.
  2. The front of their pants look faded too.
  3. Per Nike: "Canada’s 2024 Home kit celebrates the country’s sporting DNA. The shirt’s two-tone red features a rebranded Swoosh made famous on Nike hockey jerseys of the past".
  4. I don't know how I feel about the home shirt, but I do like the away kit. That oval Nike logo is a neat little change that's specific to Canada as well. As much as people want to call this boring, I'm happy they didn't copy England by using the color of the shorts on the side inserts for the jerseys. I'd expect the numbers to be blue with red trim, but even if it's only a blue number these will look good as long as the font isn't something wacky.
  5. The Canada men have been treated pretty bad regardless of who did their uniforms. But the fact taha Nike didn't have anything ready for 2022 was pretty bad.
  6. Chelsea vs Leicester City. Chelsea are in their standard homes and Leicester are in dark grey. Not sure who approved it because other than the socks it's hard to tell them apart from far away.
  7. Now I just want to know what the number font will be. If they carryover the numbers from last time it should be fine.
  8. I think for Columbus, it's a better clash than yellow vs red, but I also think games like this are why third kits should be for every team. Red Bulls could have worn their graffiti kit from last year and Columbus could wear their primaries.
  9. This feels like the Steelers grabbed Wilson too early and now they're lucky Chicago had to send Fields away. This QB room is improved, but it will be dysfunctional as hell.
  10. I think this works for some teams, but Crew2 are in a good location for them at HCS, so moving elsewhere doesn't make sense to me.
  11. The yellow bit on the Brahmas helmet doesn't really fit. I think a yellow or dark grey lid would be the better way to go. Houston with their red 2020 jerseys and the cog logo would probably work as an alternate jersey as well. Minus the side stripes of course.
  12. I think we would still see teams operating out of Arlington for at least one more year, unless they decided to set up two hubs with Birmingham as the other training hub.
  13. I wouldn't expect Cleveland to get a team, but I think going to 12 teams next season is a good call if they can get the right cities involved. I'd expect that people will want the Stars, Breakers and Sea Dragons back but the first two need to have stadiums taken care of by this summer to make them viable. And for Seattle, I think they need Portland or San Jose/Sacramento/Oakland to give them a nearby rival. I don't think 16 is viable until there is an arrangement with the NFL to take on practice squad players like the WLAF/NFL Europe league did in both iterations.
  14. I would agree. Who has he had to work with? The Commanders need to be disassembled all the way down to the studs and rebuilt.
