The home and away uniforms are nice, but the color scheme on the alternate is a little too close to Dallas and Anaheim's colors for my liking.

I agree with most that those jerseys are damn good.

My only qualms with it are the lack of purple on the alt. Some purple would be nice to break it up, because as said it resembles the Stars a bit much. And with the alt logo, probably just sharpen up the sticks a bit. As someone else said they look more like field hockey sticks with the roundness to the blade.

Also, I agree with Linus on the Crown. I'm not feeling it all that much. I feel that the spokes need to be... pointier.

But as always, great work.

As an alternate and a stylish throwback, I wouldn't mind seeing the current Panthers look (the NHL's not yours) done up like the original Kings jerseys of Forum Blue and Gold with white trim.

I like how you simplified everything, but I think you may have overdid it a little. I'm not sure how good purple and gold would look in real life, so as a personal choice it would be purple and yellow or no yellow at all. Maybe you're right, the gold is just a little too dark, or maybe I just find the colours clash too much.

The alternates are fantastic, as always, but I think maybe you can make the edges of the hockey sticks a little more flat? They look like field hockey sticks from afar. I like the white, black, and gold combo.

Overall, a pretty good job, but I think the colours can be tweaked a little more.

I know how hard it is to do an update for the kings, and I think yours is very well executed. The only things bothering me are:

- The 2 end parts on the crown are pointed, but the middle one looks kinda rounded, which is bugging me.

- The diamonds on the crown should just be one colour, instead of split up into different shades of purple.

- The other minor thing is that the sticks on the secondary look like field hockey sticks like someone mentioned, but its just minor, and the secondary looks great.

I still thinks it looks nice, and the jerseys are great. Can't wait to see what you do with the wild.

They look really nice but I'm not really feeling the black. On the alternate it looks great but on the away it is weird to have black pants and gloves with none in the jersey or socks. Also on the home the black and purple gets kind of muddled for me, maybe it's the darkness of the gold but it just doesn't work as well for me. I would either go back to the silver of the current set or ditch the black in the home and away, just my two cents.

Quick LA update: First, I changed the sticks on the alternate logo; I elongated the blades and made them less rounded.

Here's a very quick preview of a possible change to the alternate jersey:

I think it looks good, but I'd like some feedback on it.

Also, here are a few quick color studies of the home jersey, where I varied the "gold" color.

Option 00: The original gold.

Option 01: Very close to the original, slightly more saturated and with more red.

Option 02: Even more saturated and even redder.

Option 03: Much brighter and less red; closer to a LA Lakers yellow.

I'm partial to option 01, because it's closer to what I had in mind for a gold crown color.

I'm also looking at tweaking the crown logo, since so many people thought it was too simple. I may try adding some highlight/shadows, because with flat color, it's hard to show how the points (all four of them) would flare out--that's what's making the center point look different from the two sides.

Option 01 for sure, it is less flat without going all the way yellow imo. As for the alternate, I like the design but I'm not really feeling the purple additions just because the rest of the jersey maintains a white-black-gold pattern and throwing in the purple I think throws that off. Overall though this is some really good work.

I think the alternate as you had it was very strong. I can't understand how it looks too much like Dallas since LA had pretty much your same look first (at least the concept of it). Personally, I wouldn't change a thing. Especially the mid-section striping. It's kind of unneeded

Also I agree with the mid-stripe on the Alt. Not really needed.

And I know it was said that some purple needed to be incorporated into the Alt, but now it's like Purple for the sake of it, especially changing the shield background to purple. Now the black jersey itself looks out of place with the elimination of black from the alt logo.

Keep workin on it though.

Option 2, it's a little more saturated, stands out more from your original choice (which is your preference anyway). A big NO to Option 4 though.

Kings are updated and finished. I changed the gold to option 01; option 02 was just too red. I added a few jewels to the crown; I think now it doesn't look quite so plain. I tried coming up with a way to show the "flare" on the crown's points, but nothing looked good. I tried a few different ideas from scratch for the alternate jersey (including one with 80's-era sleeve stripes), but none of them looked as good as my original design, so I kept it, but replaced the white with purple. I know that won't please a lot of people, but it still accomplishes what I wanted, and I think it looks quite nice.

This one was a compromise from start to finish, and I'd love to go back some time and just start the whole thing from scratch. Thanks to everyone for the input. Next team up later today.

I thought I liked the Kings concept before but now I love it! The addition of the extra jewels really makes the crown seem more "expensive". The addition of the purple to the alternate ties it to the rest of the set but also pays homage to the Gretzky-era jerseys. Mark this one 100% complete.

The jewels on the crown are the perfect addition to the logo, and now there is the perfect balance of gold/purple and black on the alt.

#15: Minnesota Wild

First let's just say how awesome that logo is. It probably shouldn't work as well as it does, but I freakin' love it. So I just tweaked the colors: The green is quite a bit darker, the red is slightly darker, and I merged the yellow and the "wheat" into a very desaturated gold (almost a light pewter). To my eye, the green and red that they currently use don't play very well together, so I tried to establish a greater difference in brightness between the green and the red. I also made the mouth/river white, and gave it a secondary outline. The Wild don't seem to have a true wordmark (not counting that hideous "Wild" scratchy thing), so I gave them a simple one with two shooting star streaks, which is in the primary and alternate logos as well.

I wanted to give the Wild a very clean look. Some might complain that it's too "old school" for a newer team, but I don't buy the premise that all new teams MUST have crazy modern designs. To me the purpose of the jersey (indeed of all parts of the identity) is to be instantly recognizable from team to team, and I think I've done that here. I did switch back to all green as the primary with the red jersey as the alternate.

For the alternate logo, I wanted a more realistic image of this "wild" creature. As far as I can tell, the Wild have never officially said that it's supposed to be a bear, but that seems to be what the vast majority of people think it is. However, I didn't want to do another "bear," so I decided that this thing is a wolverine. So that's the logo I made, a stylized leaping wolverine, set in a circle with the team name. Yes, it is rotated. I did that because he's supposed to be leaping and bounding around his little habitat. I would consider rotating it.

I don't see it. The yellows don't match, the greens don't match, and I didn't use purple. And DelayedPenalty is correct: I used colors from a mallard.

This is your best one yet. The colors are beautiful, the basic look is simple and old-school without being the least bit bland, and the little tweaks you made are perfect. I don't love the alternate logo, but it works for the purpose it serves. That said, I'd like to see it on the sleeves. I like the current wheat numbers too, so I'd just have wheat numbers with the other dark color (be it red or green) on the home and alternate. This is a truly beautiful concept, and with a couple of changes it would be the best NHL set you've done so far. Great job!
