dgnmrwrw
#16: Montreal CanadiensObviously, a classic set here that needs very little work. Throughout this identity, I just made minor adjustments (except for the new alternate, of course). So for the logo, all I did was tweak the C in the logo so that both the top and bottom ends line up. And I gave them a bilingual wordmark using a classic roman face. For the home and away, I tried my best to make all the striping (and interactions in the striping) consistent. On the home, I started with the white/blue/white chest stripe, and made that the "template." So the only change I really made was to switch the old thin blue/white waist striping (which didn't match) to a thin white stripe at the bottom of the waist, which now acts as the white border on the blue pants, bringing everything into agreement. On the road jersey, I loved how the red/white/blue thin stripe looked on the waist, so I repeated that on the arms and the socks. Previously, there was nothing on the arms (I dropped the red sleeve tips) and the sock stripes weren't in the same size ratio. The pattern can even be extended to the entire uniform, as the red shoulder yoke and blue pants are separated by the white jersey. Pretty simple stuff, but I think it makes for a more consistent package. For the alternate, I gave them an all-blue set with a striping pattern sort of similar to the road jersey, but with the sleeve stripes coming almost over the shoulders. I also created a new crest, which includes elements from the Montreal coat of arms surrounding the letters CHC, for "Le Club de Hockey Canadien." The latin translates as "Salvation Through Harmony," which I thought was a pretty cool phrase for a hockey club. capn89
I love how you are going for consistency with the home striping. If you wanted to go all the way here are two ideas:1) Add a white stripe to the bottom of the pants. Since you added white to the bottom of the jersey to act as a border, add one to the bottom of the pants and that will be in line.2) The numbers. Single border. Not blue/red/white, just go with white numbers with a blue border. The away looks really nice, nothing to nitpick about there. As for the alternate, I just don't like it for some reason. I like the idea of a blue alt for Montreal, but I'm just not feeling this one.
Brass
I am in love with that text for the Canadiens. Simple, but absolutely gorgeous and perfect for them! On 4/10/2017 at 3:05 PM, Rollins Man said: what the hell is ccslc? Â Â
undead
Classy wordmark for the Canadiens. I could so see that alternate being accepted by the fans. The crest has a vintage feel about it that fits with a 100 year old team. I like how you used the white band across the chest without being tempted to also add red stripes. If they made the alt, I would buy it, and I don't buy jerseys.Bravo. Portfoliobobschultz6' class="bbc_url">@bobschultz6
BrySmalls
Does it say "Concordia Salus" on the thirds? If so, then that's beautiful.

dgnmrwrw
1) Add a white stripe to the bottom of the pants. Since you added white to the bottom of the jersey to act as a border, add one to the bottom of the pants and that will be in line.2) The numbers. Single border. Not blue/red/white, just go with white numbers with a blue border. You're right about the stripe on the pants. My only concern was how that stripe would look with the white jersey and (especially) with the blue jersey. I tried it a while ago and thought it was too disruptive, but I'll probably go back and look at it again. As far as the numbers go, I think you're right for the numbers on the red jersey.Does it say "Concordia Salus" on the thirds? If so, then that's beautiful. It does, and that's one of the reasons I thought it worked so well. You may want to remove Koivu and 11 from that jersey. -DanI know, I know. patsox
Nice job on this one. The wordmark, while basic, matches up with the crest pretty well. The alternate jersey looks very, very nice as well.
logocruncher
Perfect. You took the second best unis in the NHL (the Bruins are first) and made them better. Nice work here!

dgnmrwrw
Thanks to all for the feedback on the Habs. I made two small changes: the numbers on the home are now single outline, and the collar triangle on the home is now blue. The white stripe on the pants just wasn't quite working with the away and alternate. So that one's finished. Next team up soon, and it's a bit different. dgnmrwrw
#17: Nashville PredatorsI love the Preds' current name, colors, and wordmark/numbers. So I just wanted to give them a cleaner, more accurate (less distorted?) sabertooth cat logo. Again, my Illustrator is exporting colors strangely; this time the slightly-orangish yellow has taken on a peach tint (like the Ducks did). Not sure what to do about this. Ah, the uniforms. A lot happening here, and I've no doubt that many people won't be feeling it, but I like the style that slowly evolved. Basically, I loved how the thin, bright yellow piping looked against the navy jersey. But I also love how the Preds have always relied heavily on their shiny silver as well. So I let the piping have some fun, but tried to keep it grounded with more traditional silver, white, and blue stripes. The slash marks/whiskers on the side panels are a reference to the primary logo. Altogether it's a very modern, hopefully unique look that I actually really like. For the alternate, I created a few new logos. For the crest, I kept the same tooth-triangle shape, and added a silhouetted sabertooth cat in front of a full moon, with the "Nashville" text above. There's also a simple monogram on the shoulders. The jerseys have a much more traditional look, with lots of angled striping to match the angle of the crest. chickenfish13
Thats FRIGGEN AWESOME. It's just... wow. The secondary silhouette is amazing. Absolutely unique, and creative. I might get rid of the grey highlights in the sky in the secondary, but besides that, just.... wow. dribbble

undead
Awesome, awesome, awesome! Call Nashville now! Love it. I don't think you need the sharp blue triangle behind the cat in the primary, especially not in front of his face. Let the face be the frame. Move that point under the cat. You can still keep the bottom and left points but bring the left one down, even with the cat. I think it will give it a more dynamic look. That alternate is bar none one of the best logos I've ever seen on this site. I like the alternate uniform the best out of the 3. I'll have to reflect on the other 2.
