Bruins logo

No. It's too cartoony.

It's not an official Bruins logo. It was created specifically for X-Line hats.

There have been many concepts already using this logo. Yes, it's better than the Pooh. But that doesn't mean it should be used.

Pooh bear is not a bad looking logo for the shoulders.

Pooh does not belong on the front of the jersey. The jagged striping at the hem, the wordmark on the shoulder and the fact the jersey is yellow are not helping.

It seems that pretty much every bear logo in sports is kinda lame. Pooh bear is the prime example and the Vanvouver/Memphis Grizzlies logo is bad too. The Chicago Bears don't have a Bear in their logo and their uniforms are loved. The Chicago Cubs have the bear on their blue jerseys and those look awful too. The Hershey Bears logo is okay but it isn't good compared to other minor league logos. The Alaska Aces bear looks pretty good but it is a polar bear. So in conclusion, Polar Bears in jerseys = okay, Winnie the Pooh=not okay. Stop using Bears as a logo, get creative!!!

Why does every logo have to look more "fierce" to be accepted around here? The Bruins are an original six team. They don't need to re-invent their identity or adopt a generic "fierce" bear to attract pre teen fans in the southern states. There's plenty of minor league teams with that logo (identity) allready.

You don't have to be fierce, but you should look good. Yes they are original 6, however, their 3rd jersey is a new school design, so no need for the pooh bear. It doesn't fit.

Have you seen the current logo? The point isn't that it needs to be more fierce. It is that it sucks and doesn't belong on an NHL jersey.

If you mean the docile bear, I would agree, but that doesn't mean they need to replace it with another bear. boston has had a few decent designs in their history, a vitage look might suit them better.

The X-line bear looks more suited for a minor league team, i doesn't belong on the NHL level. I know it sounds redundant, but the Origonal 6 teams carry alot of history and an arngy cartoon bear doesn't fit with what the Bruins identity should be (IMO)

[Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008
