  1. I'm flattered...the Murray State set looks pretty similar to an alternate I made a while back.
  2. It amazes me how Jerry Rice can STILL put on a uniform and not look awkwardly old.
  3. I could imagine the Panthers pairing a black helmet with the blue jersey...though it might seem too similar to the Jaguars in that case?
  4. In the "this will never be thrown back to" files...the miscolored Bears...er, original Raiders. If there ever was a uniform that clearly screams "you don't look like you," it is either this or the silver-helmet Oilers.
  5. I took a stab at the Flames with maroon a few years back if you wanna see for yourself. Granted, I didn't use the regular burning C, but I figure you could easily imagine it there.
  6. Random thought: I figured I'd turn the Texans into the Oilers in one of my Retro Bowl saves.  Decided to see what a red Oilers uni would look like.  Yeah, that thing looked completely wrong, even in pixel form.  Looked way too much like the 70s Patriots.

The funny thing is a black third would have seemed, to me at least, to be more fitting had the Oilers remained in Houston.

  7. Just took a look at the Citadel's new logos, and figured I'd take a stab at them. Finished a Nicholls State set a while ago but just realized I never posted it
  8. I who have nothing, may have nothing, but I'll always have something that you won't. What that is, I'm not sure yet.
  9. The Toronto Rock of Hamilton. This would be like the Blackhawks for some reason deciding to move to Milwaukee...and then insisting that they remain the Chicago Blackhawks. The Chi, the Mil, same thing, amirite? Could they not have found somewhere closer to Toronto? As in somewhere where still calling themselves Toronto isn't outright silly?
  10. Eh, why not. During his stint with the Pats, Bryan Cox wore 0 during the preseason, then was sporting his usual #51 once the regular season began. Whether whoever was wearing 51 got released or agreed to give Cox the number, I have no idea.
  11. Admittedly, I'm surprised UWM hasn't done anything resembling the Pirates, given the color scheme. Maybe they have and I'm merely unaware of it, though.
  12. West Virginia used to have a similarly Yankees-like cap logo, though IIRC they did away with it somewhere around ten years ago.
  13. Unsure if either was intentional, @Clintau24 is much more likely to know, but Auburn has occasionally worn a Yankees-like uniform in recent years... Bo knows Dodgers inspiration
  14. They seem to have moved away from this in recent years, but Purdue used to wear a Braves-style script and they also messed around with a black jersey inspired by the late 90s Padres
  15. Man...nobody wants the Chargers around. Not LA, not college hockey, nobody
  16. During the brief time I played Madden Mobile 21 before I said "eff it, I'm uninstalling, I can't play this laggy, repetitive trash anymore," I noticed something off about the Lions' uniforms. When I got a good look, turned out EA had given them their previous helmet with the black facemask and black-white-blue striping.
  17. Otterbots, roll out! Not sure what they'd transform into, but whatever. Seems like an unusual choice, but maybe it ends up working.
  18. Bristol Terrestrial Frogs...if I sub in my middle initial for my first, I get the more sensible River Frogs.
  19. I figure that game against the Warriors rubbed you the wrong way too. Honestly, when these two teams meet, the Bucks should not be the blue-clad team. I don't wanna give the swoosh any ideas, otherwise I'd put another oddball scenario out there.
  20. Congratulations...you get 77 Creamer points
  21. IIRC they did convince the Bears to make a small tweak to the GSH.
  22. TFW you forgot to grab a cold one after work 😑

  23. I know one thing, it's nice to not constantly worry about my PC going bluescreen, or worse, black screen on a constant basis. So first, we got Colorado College. Not exactly the height of creativity, admittedly, but hoops are usually a good bet. A mountainous take on it is the clash. The smaller size is only because I'd used an older 800 x 600 concept by mistake. Bulldoggin like them Georgetown Hoyas. Went with hoops again, though this time out, there's a two tone gray clash for when opponents are in blue or a sufficiently dark color, and navy for when the opponent's in gray/silver or old gold (I remember briefly watching a women's basketball game between Colorado and Texas A&M. The Buffs were in gold, the Aggies in silver. Brutal on the eyes, as far as telling who was who). Lastly, the IPFW Fort Wayne Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Purdue making Fort Wayne change its colors, but it is what it is. (For comparison's sake, of the UW system schools in the NCAA outside of Madison, only Green Bay and River Falls wear red at all). I went with a sash...but truncated it to resemble a mastodon's tusk. The third is blue, their old color, with a take on a classic V that'll definitely be an eye catcher.
  24. That, and there's no real reason to go away from Phoenix Suns.
