  1. As nice as the Avs win was...felt bad for Vasilevskiy though, unless he insisted on staying in, no reason for his coach to leave him out to dry like that.
  2. Eh, I personally don't give the idea of wealth inequality much serious thought. A lot of folks got more than I do, a lot of folks got less. It is what it is. Back on topic, the Lightning are collectively having one of those "can't get right" games...barring a miracle, they may as well sit their goalie for the third and lick their wounds as the series moves to Tampa.
  3. Looking at the black, volt and white...I gotta applaud the Jazz here. They've managed to create something that has brought the OKC Thunder's long stranglehold on Worst Uniforms in the NBA to a screeching end.
  4. JaguarGator9, is that you? Nah, the all black Niners set debuted just before Color Rush... it's easy to forget there's a decent chunk of black in their logo. Edit: beat me to it, but yeah.
  5. Watching these mugs for the first time in a month...so apparently the Bandits have dominated the crappy teams but get bodied by the good teams. Today, I can see why... it's less that the Breakers are outplaying them (they really aren't) than that they're beating themselves...badly.
  6. If there's one thing I miss about the California Angels, it's their beautiful final uniform before the name change to Anaheim...that said, what they've worn for the past couple decades is basically a mix of that and the 70s-80s set, just bring navy caps back as an option.
  7. Yeah, that late 60s-early 70s timeframe seemed to be when teams were transitioning from the old durene to mesh, as a gander at the GUD shows...the Bears, in addition to the two different white jerseys, also had two navy jerseys, in similar fashion to the Vikes: the durene version had the stripes, the mesh version was stripeless. Though they managed their rounded numbers on that but not the mesh whites for some reason.
  8. They're the colors of the Boston Athletic Association, who organizes the marathon iirc.
  9. I'm conflicted...I wanna say once was more than enough regarding the Bucks in blue...but at least there's some green this time.
  10. For the bonus...was this on a field trip where the teacher stuck a Hello My Name Is sticker on you?
  11. Damn, I was completely unaware the Los Dodgers jersey even used black. Do agree that it's really underwhelming...sure, everybody hates the Yellow Red Sox city connect, but you at least know what they were going for...why does the Los Dodgers uni exist, though? What is it raining to connect to?
  12. The new falcon seems like something I might have seen before, even though I know I haven't. Deja Vu, I guess.
  13. Bone probably would have gone over better for a team that uses silver like the Lions... I'd actually like to see the Bears in cream. Browns would pull it off well too though.
  14. ...and whatever the Penguins play as a goal song, imagine that off key too.
  15. If it were anybody else, I'd be skeptical...but it's the Flames. Completely believable.
  16. I got an idea...how about Edmonton? *Dodges tomatoes*
  17. Better contrast with black...though the Lions' or OKC Thunder shades of blue would work just as well.
  18. Always the right answer, it seems....man, has anything good ever happened to the Kings since the Webber era ended? It's like they always draft the wrong guys, and when they get anybody good, they either do them a favor by eventually trading them, or they waste their careers. Basically the textbook "anti-example" team that, to quote Vince Lombardi, only wins once in a while, only does things right once in a while.
  19. Well...the Celtics clearly got that team fire code in before tipoff. I'm not sure Miami wants any of this horsefly D Boston's playing. It's golf time for Bango... let's have a moment of silence for the old champs
  20. Well, it's official, the Bolts win the internet That felt like a modern day equivalent of these petty AFL game programs...and I'm loving the petty rn.
  21. The moment a star's team needs him to come up big...Ben Simmons basically ran away from it...James Harden chose to sleepwalk through it...Jayson Tatum is facing it head on. I've gained a ton of respect for him this series.
