  1. Found this bad boy at Goodwill for $10. Needed a little TLC (the wooden piece that keeps the launcher thing in place was broken) but it was an easy fix. Also missing the little ramp in the middle that leads to the home run hole. Anyone know of anywhere to get replacement parts for things like this?
  2. SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!! Forbes report states grim financial numbers for the Arizona Coyotes last season https://www.bardown.com/forbes-report-states-grim-financial-numbers-for-the-arizona-coyotes-last-season-1.1158096
  3. I'd love to see those Whalers unis on the ice again- and not just half-assed for a warm-up skate. Could you imagine Hurricanes wearing Whalers v Bruins both wearing 1991-92 unis at Foxboro for the Winter Classic? *salivates* I'll take green v white or black v white. Both would look INCREDIBLE.
  4. Connecticut Governor invites the Hurricanes to play a home game in Hartford next season https://www.bardown.com/connecticut-governor-invites-the-hurricanes-to-play-a-home-game-in-hartford-next-season-1.994270
  5. I just associate Seals with a failed franchise. Long ago, yes, but still. Sea Lions just sounds better IMO. Thunderbirds would be great, but would an NHL franchise absolutely mean the demise of the WHL team, or would we have a Chicago Wolves, Edmonton Oil Kings, etc. type of situation?
  6. True. Was it last year that Snoop Dogg was DJing and playing songs with ample "bitches and hoes"?
  7. Yea, personal political ideologies aside, Kid Rock isn't the best choice given the current social climate.
  8. 41m ago Report: Seattle NHL group registers 13 names https://www.tsn.ca/report-seattle-nhl-group-registers-13-names-1.972946 Cougars, Eagles, Emeralds, Evergreens, Firebirds, Kraken, Rainiers, Renegades, Sea Lions, Seals, Sockeyes, Totems and Whales Yes- Emeralds, Sea Lions, Sockeyes, Totems Kraken is cool, but I despise singular names. Renegades, Firebirds, Cougars, Eagles are just generic filler names. Whales, no. Seals, no. Evergreens, no. Rainiers, no.
  9. I liked the idea of the Isles in Brooklyn, but not in that place. It's no place for a hockey team.
  10. Yea, forgot about the time zone thing. But they are relatively close to a good chunk of Eastern teams- namely Columbus and Carolina, but TB, Detroit, Pittsburgh aren't too far.
  11. Why don't they just relocate Vegas now and save themselves the trouble in 7 years. Also- if anyone had to move east, wouldn't Nashville be the logical choice?
  12. I think it's inevitable that the fourth largest city in the U.S. at some point gets a team. Is the time right now? Who knows, but it can't be any worse than the situation in Arizona. I used to subscribe to the Hockey News as a kid and I remember waaay back (96?) when the NHL was rumbling about the new quartet of expansion teams coming, they ran an article sort of forecasting the NHL roughly 10-15 years into the future and the four expansion teams were Seattle, Portland, Houston and there was another, maybe Nashville. I just remember it being cool. Anyone else recall this?
  13. Yea, the Vikings game was MNF against the Giants. Free admission as well. She was sold out.
  14. Gotcha...for me, I think it's just because we played against him in the 2012 playoffs which I remember well.
  15. Will Astros/Rangers get better attendance than the Rays at the Trop?
  16. IDK, I picture him in an A's uni just as much as the Jays.
  17. I absolutely love the city of Montreal. The amount of people out and about in the summer is insane. The downtown streets are filled. The old O is at the end of the metro line with literally nothing to do around it. I think, with the right stadium in the right place, it could be a success. I do understand the hesitance, though.
  18. Thats exactly what the Caps should be wearing.I love the throwback set, but the font is horrible. Using the updated font would help, although the Weagle would be far more suited as a primary.
  19. At least in Quebec, all they'd have to do if open a few windows. No need for some fancy 'cooling system'.
