I wish they would have just applied the blue parts of the logo as individual decals rather than having a giant black decal on a black helmet

I wouldn't expect any changes at A&M as far as the main uniform goes but the script Aggies logo will be featured on the gloves this year.

The problem is they haven't been sleeve numbers since 2012. They got relocated to the shoulders in 2013 when they got the Mach Speed template. I honestly didnt realize they moved them for an entire decade. It does seem odd to not have any numbers on the sleeve or shoulder as they have been there since the mid-70s

Even if the only change is the removal of the Longhorn chest logo, it's already a huge improvement. The chest has been overcrowded for years now on the Texas uniform.

As an Everton fan, I wish we were still sponsored by Cazoo. -
Buick Unveils New Logo as Company Enters into Electric Scene

China is the sole reason Buick still exists. I don't know why they even kept it as an American brand when 80% of all Buick branded cars sold are Chinese market sales. I have a co-worker who is a Chinese immigrant and he was asking me the other day why he doesn't see any Buicks on the roads here since its an American brand. -
Marathon started off as the "Ohio Oil Company" so Amoco has always been their midwestern rival since Standard Oil was broken up. Living in Houston, it was always weird to see oil companies have HQ here (like marathon and Amoco/BP) but have zero of their gas station brands around.

Buick Unveils New Logo as Company Enters into Electric Scene

In the US its a brand that only has a positive image with people older than 60. Anyone younger than that sees it as a brand for older people. The only reason it wasn't scrapped along with Pontiac and Saturn was because it is popular as a semi-luxury brand in China. Anything that might help its image is worth trying if they aren't going to eliminate it -
The game formerly known as the Outback Bowl is now the ReliaQuest Bowl. While this is trading one corporate name for another, this just feels like a huge downgrade. The logo is ok but I doubt all the gradients will transition well to the field.

It originally was Texas Technological College. In the 50's they decided to rename to a university since they were offering far more than just technical college classes. Ideas floated out were Texas State, University of the Southwest, Texas Technological College and State University, and The Texas University of Art, Science and Technology. They settled on Texas Tech because they wanted to preserve the Double T logo.

One of the co-owners of Trackhouse will have his face on the hood and side of the car this weekend

The Outback Bowl is no more. The game is now the Tampa Bay Bowl until a new sponsor comes along https://www.tampabaybowl.com/march-2022/tampa-bay-bowl-association-reveals-new-name-logo

Every time I see a AAA Cooper Transportation trailer I think I'm looking at a mirrored "Flying T" TCU logo

Its a good look, but they are from some dark times in the program

I agree, but they already shifted away from the V-star last season. They just used their black V on a gold helmet for every game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers New Primary Logo [8/? Finished]

Forcing an H, which is 3 straight lines, into the top half of a circle just doesnt work for me. Without the wordmark to the right telling you that its associated with the Houston Texans, I don't think I would see the roundel by-itself as being an H over a T. I see an incomplete bridge over a T. Other than that its good work. -
Don't do it. ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!

I know it was the name of the original Houston USFL team, but I still find it funny that a team named the Gamblers exists in a state where casino's aren't allowed (minus that semi-rogue casino on Indian land in East Texas)

Ha. We've got plenty of those too. But I was referring to the numerous shopping centers/mall that line all of our major thoroughfares in the area.
-
Unfortunately for the Dynamo, most of Houston has forgotten about them too. Being near the bottom of the standings for multiple years will do that. As far as the new kit....meh. I would prefer more orange on it. I don't get how it ties in to our bayous. If they wanted a bayou kit they would have it be yoohoo brown. Perhaps they are dark grey to represent our numerous grey freeways and grey strip centers

Velo is a nicotine pouch with zero tobacco. Depending on the wording of the law, that may be how they get around advertising in places with tobacco ad bans. Then again, Mission Winnow (Phillip Morris) could advertize in Europe either so perhaps the ban is for any company that make a majority of its profit off of tobacco.

BWT has signed on to be the title sponsor of Alpine. I hope the car remains mostly blue but I'm sure BWT will make them be a mostly pink team.
