  1. The Chargers’ rebrand is one of the best I can remember in a while. Their previous look was fine, very good even but they absolutely nailed this look. Every combination is at least a 7/10 with some 10/10s in there. And as you said, even that fashion jersey looks fantastic. Easy Top 5-10 identity in the league.
  2. Is this confirmed? I remember a lot of Oilers discussion on this thread not too long ago, which may have been prompted by this news, but if it's real I've completely erased it from my memory. Which is probably a coping mechanism, cause that's easily the worst and most bland Oilers uniform since the initial Edge navy/copper piping disaster.
  3. On the other hand, this is absolute garbage that would have been panned in any era. You could stick these uniforms into action when the NHL looked like this and they'd look out of place.
  4. Classic case of "there's no way this jersey should look as good as it does." Maybe it's just the fact that the 90's are very much "in" right now clouding my judgment, but I really don't hate these. Those colors should not look as good as they do together.
  5. I don't know, man. The thought of a Ronaldo header on the end of a KdB cross terrifies me.
  6. I really think the Falcons’ uniforms are undeserving of the vitriol they get on this forum. The “ATL” is easily the worst part of the uniform. I don’t think the number font is terrible for a team called the Falcons, who have a very angular, pointy wordmark.
  7. All is as it should be. Nature is healing.
  8. Hard to believe the degradation of Barcelona as a team and as a brand honestly. When I was getting into soccer they were the unquestioned best in the world, when you thought soccer, you though Barça. Even the final Messi years they have been a shell of their former selves in terms of team quality. They haven’t been the best team in the world for six years and counting and it may be a long time before they are ever considered so again. Will we look back on them letting Neymar leave as one of the biggest transfer mistakes of all time?
  9. Yeah that looks like a mid-2000's era hat. Which isn't a good thing, fashion typically only becomes cool again after 25-30 years so there's still some time needed until they can bring those designs back. Apparently New Era is also doing different sideline caps for home and away this year? Is that something that they've always done and I've just been too oblivious to notice? Or is it something that's done in name only, i.e. they have home and away caps but the coaches only wear the home ones all the time? Either way, the road caps feature a blacked out or predominantly single color logo outlined in the team color. For some teams, I think it actually works pretty well. For others, not so much.
  10. Ravens sign Justin Houston to a 1 year deal worth up to $4 million. Absolute steal. Have no idea how EDC pulls this stuff off. The Chiefs obviously present a massively-sized roadblock in the Ravens’ way of trying to win a Super Bowl (and the Bills are no slouches either), but this is a move that I think at least keeps pace with the big guns. Our glaring weakness was pass rush, and bringing in a veteran guy to help with that is just what the doctor ordered. Even if he’s only a 3rd down specialist, Wink usually can dial up some crazy blitz to get to the QB on early downs.
  11. As much as it would hurt for Al Michaels to step away from SNF, I think this is about the right time to do it. He's obviously an all-time great and still better than a lot of the play-by-play guys you hear on TV, but I feel like over the last few years it's become increasingly clear that he's lost a step or two. Feels like most of the enthusiasm comes from Collinsworth, which can work, except when it's Cris Collinsworth it's super annoying. It's funny, I feel like each of the four "A" NFL broadcast teams have issues, so I always find myself bouncing between them as to which one I like the best. There have been stretches where I seriously was thinking about Buck and Aikman as the best duo in the NFL, although that thought eventually passed. I think right now you'd have to give the edge to Nantz and Romo but there are a lot of times over the course of a 4:30 CBS game that Tony Romo says something that makes me roll my eyes.
  12. I agree. I’m reeeeally hoping the sizing just looks off cause they're not wearing pads and that it’s one of the first jerseys they made, so it’ll look better on the ice. Cause if not, woof. That away jersey is gonna be all logo.
  13. I actually like the idea they were going for but someone said it looks like a bowling alley carpet and now I can't get that image out of my head.
  14. Gorgeous kit. Good enough to tempt me to buy it during the season they wear it (I usually try and wait until after the season to get good deals). Glad we get a good looking change kit after that abomination of a home kit.
  15. Fantastic jersey. Only bad thing is the dumb “Rams” clothing tag on the left shoulder but I can live with that. Make a home uniform based on that, drop the gradient, and you’re good. It’s not hard, Rams.
  16. Absolute disasterclass from Southgate there. Goes into park the bus mode after scoring an early goal where an extra goal or two could have been the dagger. And then throws up three of his youngest players for pens, including a fricking nineteen year old who he asked to shoulder the burden of 55 years’ worth of hurt. England had their chance to win their first trophy in over a half century and they biffed it.
  17. If my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a bike.
  18. Looks like reputation (see: total number of likes) has also been moved to a member’s profile, instead of below their avatar on a post.

  20. I agree with all those takes except 16/17 Madrid. I think that’s a clean, simple, yet not boring font. I think that was actually an outstanding year for their branding as a whole, with the purple accents. I even liked the wonky black kit with the half logo on either shoulder. The year after with the teal was sharp too, though I liked their change kits much better than the home kit with the weird, thin hoops on the shoulders.
