The Lakers don’t necessarily have the problem that the Celtics do: They can get away with a couple tweaks here and there. Number color doesn’t matter all that much, and it looks fine to me.

Numbers need to be instantly recognizable. If you have to look for a few seconds to figure them out, no matter the size of your TV, its a bad font.

I honestly hate the argument that this “won’t change anything”. No one is claiming that the black W or dropping redskins will solve everything. The truth of the matter is that these teams aren’t part of the government, and their actions hold no real political power. So when we argue that the actions have no value and won’t contribute to further legislation, it undercuts the real purpose of the change and leaves some mad at the team for something they can’t control.

This is the equivalent of the kids who comment “we did it guys we solved racism” when ESPN posts something about civil rights. It’s not funny.

Ha! Those sports templates are expensive though. It takes some real digging to find a cheap photorealistic template that actually works, so I suppose it’s worth it.

I really like it! Red Blue and Yellow always looks good and is very underused. What would the D logo look like without the point on the inside, just the outside.

I really like it, the last logo was very dated. It also looks great on a helmet. However I don’t like the 49 logo.

I would love this, especially since me and my friends have been doing this ourselves for our high school and another local one for the past week, (We’re the Indians they’re the Rebels). If there would be some ground rules I think it could work.

Yeah I’ve wondered how much longer these names will last. For example why does there need to be the Baylor “lady bears” basketball team. They have had much more success than the male team.

Yes that’s my take too. A more simple version of this logo would be perfect (kinda like the sketch shown).

That cow logo so something else. It looks like a cow got its head stuck in the Calgary Flames logo .
