  1. (Edited to have a more apples to apples comparison) Looks like the T has been thickened and the C definitely is squashed. I rather like the more solid T, and how the crossbar follows the curve of the C. I think this will help with the legibility issues some people have brought up before from long range. Cautiously optimistic for the rest of the set.
  2. The Twins use a different combination of Pantone colors than every other team in the league, therefore they have a unique color scheme. Honestly dude if you cant see the difference than I really can’t help you. This is a sports logos forum. Are you new here? Edit: Actually, this is in a strict sense wrong, the Braves and Cardinals also use officially use Pantone 200 and 289, but they're shaded differently in other applications. So it depends.
  3. The Twins have been wearing RWB since 1901 and three World Series. Go pick on the Rangers (1961, 0 WS) or the Nationals (1969, 1 WS) or the Angels (1961, 1 WS) to change their colors.
  4. It would be incredibly like the tone-deaf Twins to retain the worst part of their current identity. Worried we will get a Timberwolves style rebrand that will inevitably be walked back in seven years.
  5. I can't believe the Wild logo has been crooked on the mothership for years, to the point where it regularly shows up wrong in other places, and it hasn't been fixed. I'm half convinced it's a troll job at this point. What is going on with the Habs' numbers? Colorado and New Jersey both going with Rockies colors is strange. That Tampa jersey should have been left 1994 Microsoft Word where it belongs
  6. Ditch the mustard. Ditch the mustard. Ditch the mustard. Don't touch the TC. It's the one uniform element that has been unchanged since 1961.
  7. Incidentally this is by far my favorite look for the Gophers.
  8. At least they've been in the right ballpark with the colors. Still have PTSD from these:
  9. Whoa, whoa, slow down there maestro, there's a new Mexico?
  10. A solid concept for Minnesota. What about using the north star in the middle instead of the state as the separator between numbers and letters?
  11. Completely agree, that "federal" slate and bronze is a great, unique color scheme. Bring that back, leave the logo in the past. And in fact, if you simply flip the landmark imagery on the Weagle that removes a fair bit of the negative space that annoys Ridley. Eagle, Capitol, W covered on the chest. Maybe a DC flag with hockey sticks for stripes on the shoulders and the Caps' imagery from all eras is covered, minus cheesy text.
  12. I don't understand the appeal of the Screagle at all. It's horribly lopisided to the bottom left. I can't tell if the eagle has one or two wings, not in an interestingly abstract or intentional way, but because they just merge into an uninteresting blob in the upper right. The head and talon are rendered to imply three dimensionality, but the wing/body blob is flat. I want to say the perspective of the stars is wrong, but I can't because I'm not sure what the perspective of the eagle is supposed to be. There doesn't seem to be any significance or thought put into the overall silhouette of the logo, it's just what was left over when they put all the parts together. It feels like a napkin draft of a logo.
  13. Aurora FC kit reveal today: Detailed views on their Instagram.
  14. Wing, dark gray, light blue numbers. This is the baseline that all Loon kits should start from.
  15. Don't blame anyone who's disappointed but I'm surprised how much I like it. Numbers and letters should definitely be light blue though. If Vancouver can do it so can MN.
  16. Them leaning into orca imagery as in the concept above would be an interesting direction that doesn't just echo the Space Needle again. Creates an opportunity for a clean secondary mark too.
  17. Sunburst pattern to the yoke and then it shows up on both jerseys, doesn't highlight the crotch, and isn't overdesigned garbage.
  18. I hope it doesn't take the Revs another 20 years to ditch the white roundel part of their badge on the kits.
  19. I feel like there could have been a way for them to tie the three stars of the DC flag in with the rank insignia of a three-star lieutenant general, the highest rank G. Washington held while alive. They even have the shoulders empty and everything. C'mon people, synergize!
  20. To get away from the uniforms for a second (sigh of relief) this is just a terrible, uninspired roundel. The only interesting part is the quadrant with the stars, and that just makes me think of Tennessee, not DC.
