  1. It has the 75th diamond Nike logo on it, so maybe it's a prototype? I'm strarting to get sick of my Lakers in black/dark grey. It was cool when they did the Black Mamba's in 2018, even better when they brought them back for the namesake's passing in 2020, but it's getting old. Who are they honoring this time? The outline on the logo is awfully thin. And no drop shadow?
  2. If a different NFL team (like Houston currently does) wanted to be blue at home/red on the road, I would be ok with that. But for a team nicknamed "Big Blue", blue should always be thier primary color. It doesn't hurt that the design of the throwbacks/CR are pretty nice, either.
  3. Why not? You guys have been cosplaying as the 1960's Giants for 20 years. It may have worked then, but the mininalistic home and the red-heavy road has gotten old quickly. Thses jerseys may be simple, but they are beautiful. And don't worry about the Bills comparisons, becuse what Buffalo currently wears is identical to their throwbacks in the eyes of the casual fan.
  4. Top left is pefection, brotha. It's pretty cool how you've given us insight to (and let us weigh in on) the design process. Keep up the good work!
  5. (please ignore the bad photoshop of a Pats jersey) Would something like this work for the Panthers?
  6. In that case, I would do the top one, so that the little sharp swoosh at the top look more ecohesive with the design, instead of a knife poking out.
  7. Yeah, I think the bottom one is perfect. The other two seem a smidge too wide. This one is the perfect width, while retainig both the swoosh at the top and the aggressivness of a tiger.
  8. The "end of story" is what the NFL's and City of Cleveland's legal books say. Our opinions on this forum don't define or change anything.
  9. This is starting to get into revisonist history territory. Your just taking evidence that supports your narrative and proceeding to ignore all of the fact that clearly points to the contrary.
  10. It's gonna be released on February 30th, 2024.
  11. Per the mothership: (https://news.sportslogos.net/2022/07/19/carolina-panthers-unveil-glorious-new-black-alternate-helmet/football/)
  12. Guys, there's no trim on the shoulders at all. That must be the new template, because Utah has the same "stripes" on their uniforms.
  13. Per the mothership: https://news.sportslogos.net/2022/07/18/cleveland-cavaliers-unveil-new-simple-uniform-set-for-2022-23-season-and-beyond/basketball/
  14. What I don't understand is why evryone is raving about this black helmet. From the casual fan to @CC97 on the main site to Paul Lukas of Uni Watch, everyone thinks this is the greatest football uniform of all-time, but to me they look like a high-school team.
  15. Those were prototypes for the new unifroms they released in 2020. Teams can't change for 5 years after a new set, so even if they existed, those jerseys theoretically couldn't be worn until 2025-26.
  16. They didn't. (My Nike connect would've told me).
  17. Dude, believe me. Go look at my other posts about the Bengals. Better yet, go back to the 2020 thread and look at my post about LAC's periwinkle. It's
  18. Guys, you're not going to believe me, but the same "connect" I had that told me about the Panthers and Bengals is saying the not only will the Bucs wear the creamsiclces, but: Miami is going back to the throwbacks full time, Broncos are wearing Orange Crush, Rams are going all-black for "Hollywood Nights", the Seahawks will wear the throwbacks next year, the Chargers will have a periwinkle and volt alternate, Bears are making the orange pants primary, and the Cards are getting a makeover. Oh, yeah, and WAS will get the striped gold pants back. Trust me, dude. This guy works for Nike's stock department, and he said he's seen everyhting a year in advance. All the stripes are electricty-conductive, too.
  19. Leaked! CLIPPERS 2024-25 UNIFORMS!!!
  20. No, I get what you're saying. They probably did view it as an opportunity to change uniforms (and we know how much Cleveland loves that).
  21. CCSLCN. Chris Creamer's Sports Logos Community for Nerds.
  22. I meant their entire 50-year history in NJ. Obviously they were not wearing two different color schemes at the same time.
  23. I understand what thye were going for, and the gold by itself looks strong, but that doesn't make up for lack of trim. Even a small, thin trim like the Kobe-era Lakers jerseys could've done more.
  24. That the word I was looking for! "Corporate" defines this perfectly, down to the ad patch on the shoulder. This lifeless, soulless brand that says "Here are the Kia Motors-sponsored NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers brought to you by Cliffs."
