  1. You guys have mentioned it, but I'm really starting to hate the Statement jerseys becoming farther and farther away from the main set. This is New Orleans statement jersey: and here are their core jerseys: All three of those jerseys look like they belong to the same set. Statement jerseys are supposed to be an extention of the main set, just like alternates in the pre-Nike era. Detriot's Statement jersey now looks nothing like the core jerseys. Say what you want about the chrome jerseys, but at least they matched.
  2. Cleveland finally decided on the field design. They had a Twitter poll a while back, but that was it.
  3. Pittburgh themselves confirmed the throwbacks for this game. https://www.steelers.com/news/steelers-to-retire-harris-number-32
  4. I'll agree on the colors, but the number outlines stay. There's not enough white on the classic jerseys to justify having white on the NOB and pants stripe.
  5. Utah never really had one. Their ceiling with the Mitchell/Gobert pairing was 45 to 50-ish wins and the second round, and that's where they hit all four* years. I get wanting to see small-market teams win, but this Utah teardown was bound to happen. *except 2020 in the bubble where they got knocked out in the first round by the 3-1 Nuggets. Jamal Murray and Donovan Mitchell were trading 50-bombs like they were both prime Kobe. Man, the bubble was a weird time.
  6. The navy games against KC and SF are likley for contrast. Red vs Orange is a sore sight to see (looking at you, Cincy).
  7. Los Angeles Rams It's well documented on the boards how fall the Rams have fallen from uniform greatness. While the bright colors were a step in the right direction, that was they only thing they should have touched. Classic horn returns on helmet. Classic shoulder horn stripes return, but are trimmed to fit the modern jersey cut. St. Louis-era jersey numbers return also, but on the home jersey, they are outlined in white. Classic pants stripe returns, recolored in bright blue and yellow. Two new fauxbacks: a white fauxback to the late 60's Rams, and a navy blue fauxback harkening to the Rams' time in St. Louis.
  8. I gave it a shot, and while I definitely like the first version better, but I can see how yellow and white can be an eyesore (especially on that throwback...yikes).
  9. They couldn't just pay someone else to get in the suit?
  10. Trying out a new template...tell me what you guys think about it. Minnesota Vikings In the NFL 2022 thread, we were discussing Vikings uniforms and a picture of Randy Moss wearing the UCLA-striped set came up. I lovbed that uniform, but hated the fact that the home version had Northwestern stripes instead. Solution? Add them to the home jersey. The UCLA stripes return, now being white/yellow/white on the purple jersey and socks. White socks now have stripes to match white jersey. Facemask is now purple. Number font no longer has "Viking ship/horn" serifs. New yellow jersey as an alternate, the first in Vikings history. Color Rush is a thorwback to the infamous 1964 game against the Lions where both teams brought white jerseys, forcing MIN wear purple-on-purple for the first time.
  11. Those pants belong to the '67 Sonics, not the '67 Rockets.
  12. So you hate "Throwback for Throwback's sake" but you encourage BFBS?
  13. That stripe on the pants does not match at all.
  14. $100 it's just another 90's throwback, probably to the 93-94 championship team.
  15. I would love for the Vikes to go back to this set full-time, but my only problem would be that the home jersey would not match, If the purple jersey had white/gold/white (or gold/white/gold) UCLA stripes, it would be a top-5, maybe top-3 NFL set.
  16. Last year's ones were the best, IMO, with the logo in font, wordmark on the back, and team colors on the arm trim. This year's are a slight step down, but still top tier.
  17. Hey guys! I'm working on a new template that will be able to fit all the jerseys in one compact image, rather than 3-4 large images. In the meantime, here are the... New York Giants New York's uniforms, as they currently stand, have a bit of a color balance crisis. The home uniform is all blue, no stripes, no red, no nothing. The awayis the inverse, with all red numbers, red northwestern stripes, and new red-striped pants to match. That may have worked in the 60's, but for a team nicknamed Big Blue, this cannot (and should not) be the case. 1980-1999 set is the basis for this uniform. Sleeve cuffs, collar, and pants stripe are colored blue-red-blue on both jerseys, intended to mimic the helmet stripe. Names, and numbers are colored red akin to the current set.
  18. A Uni Watch viewer unintentionally gave us a look at the new NFL Network graphics. Looks like the 2016-2019 FOX combined with the pre-SBLV CBS.
  19. Why did they include his picture on the official release statment? Are they trying to shame him with Twitter comments?
  20. Say what you want about the powder blues, but these were beautiful:
  21. The problem is, they had planned to drop new unis with the new stadium (as they did IRL). Had they adjusted the jersey in, say, 2018, it would have reset the 5-year (or 2 year in advance) clock, thus no longer aligning with said stadium.
  22. My Cowboys need a little more blue tint in the silver, but other than that, great job. Philly w/o the gray and the number font looks great.
  23. How so? We've seen six NBA teams (GS, PHX, WAS, UTA, DET, MIL) release a 90s throwback uniform in the past week, and plenty more in the past 5 seasons (MEM, BRK, CHA, CLE, ORL, TOR, MIN). For some teams, those are their best looks, and I'm fine with them throwing back to it, but we're starting to reach 1990s overload status, imo (in pop culture in general, not just the NBA). Also, what 80s nostalgia are you referring to?
