    I've thought about starting this thread a few times. It's a chance to share where you ran into a sports logo some place that made you say WTF, or even a lesser reaction. Yesterday at Lowe's in Hendersonville NC, a car was pulling in with an Expos license plate on the front of it.

    I'm not a fan of the use of a logo or wordmark on an NFL jersey. I think the combination of colors, font, and (where applicable) stripes ought to be sufficient to identify the team. #needsstripes I get that this meshes with historical Cardinals jerseys. I'm ok without stripes but admit that wordmarks or logos are the rule, not the exception.

    Absolutely agree. Maybe I'd quibble about your Boston discussion. You aren't wrong. I think it makes sense to focus on a single source of inspiration on it, because it really says Boston and it doesn't muddy the waters by doing too much.

    Unique isn't the issue for me. I like the Broncos in Royal Blue better than Navy. As someone earlier said, their former uniforms with a recolored current helmet. Done.

    My 21 year old son texted me last night (unprompted), and stated: "After seeing the new Cardinals jerseys I am convinced I could be a graphic designer for a professional sports team. It's literally just a red jersey. No design. No twist. No "Arizona" anything. It's just red lol. What's the minimum number of years before another design change? Isn't it like 2-3?" I told him 5. He replied "Oh great lol" A - Which doesn't make it true B - You DO know that we aren't the common fan, right?

    They changed both. Silver flakes and a silver facemask. Logo is the 3-D version and enlarged.
