So the logo was in development long before the name change to Arlington. Saying it only LOOKS like a D-R doesn't mesh with reality based on this timeline (not at you, @MJWalker45)

When was this logo created? When did they announce the name change to Arlington from Dallas?

Calling it an R logo is either being blindly selective or blindly ignorant. It's a DR for Dallas Renegades that should have been re-designed when Arlington demanded that their name be used rather than Dallas. I agree with a good deal of what you are saying, but the problem is that the logo ISN'T an AR or an R, it's a DR. That's a showstopper.

Other than needing a potential owner and a venue with a full-time ice facility that wouldn't relegate an NHL tenant to third tier (behind the Bucks and Marquette at a minimum) and fans who aren't already accustomed to paying $10-15 for Admiral tickets. We can wish it, but Milwaukee isn't gonna happen. -

Understood. The place I have in mind already shows the Amazon games on Thursday nights. They'll have this. They also show UFC events. Bowling alleys are awesome Edit - yes, this sucks. I can make do with one game. Yes it will be more, but I'll deal with that as I need to.

I've thought about starting this thread a few times. It's a chance to share where you ran into a sports logo some place that made you say WTF, or even a lesser reaction. Yesterday at Lowe's in Hendersonville NC, a car was pulling in with an Expos license plate on the front of it.

It was talked about earlier here, but the concrete structure of Nissan Field was incorrectly built. It lacks appropriate rebar in places. It isn't repairable.
