2022 NFL regular season through Super Bowl LVII

Because it does nothing to prevent him from coming back. Acting like this is the proof is just being obtuse. Again, he may truly be done, but this doesn't mean that. -

Do you know what he has to do to un-retire? File a letter with the NFL. This does nothing. EDIT - I'm not saying he isn't retired. But this means nothing. Schefter knows that, but sometimes you agree to tweet things for favors, either future, current or past. -
I work on occasion for Marquette Men's basketball, so I'm on the floor periodically (I'll be working the game against Xavier on Wednesday - I'm at the scorer's table). It has the grooves in the floor for the boards, so it is possible. Clearly the venue has hosted a college hockey tournament, so it can be done. The bigger problem, though, is fitting a schedule into the primary tenant (Bucks) and secondary tenant (Marquette), not to mention concerts and what not. It has the infrastructure, so it's doable. I don't think it is viable, however, as you would be left with (likely) unpleasant home dates.

You read it on the internet - it must be real.

It was intended to allow teams to not play injured players by letting them sit the guys who were hurt. If a team chooses to NOT dress a third QB (or even carry one on their roster), that's on the team, not on a league rule. -
I think the Forum would make an AFL team a third-tier tenant at best, behind the Bucks, Marquette, and likely any other events (i.e., concerts). Panther Arena (the former MECCA) could be better, but that puts you behind the Admirals and Panthers, plus events.

I've been a season ticket holder since forever. I've driven to GB from SE Wisconsin for nearly every game since 1992. Given the traffic on gamedays, I'm not alone in that feeling about the drive. I'd argue it is less the cost of tickets than the availability, given that they are all sold to season ticket holders. On the reverse of this, I was a season ticket holder to the Green Bay Blizzard for 5 years and made that drive for home games, so if someone WANTS to do it, it isn't an issue.

Compare the latter day Milwaukee Iron/Mustangs to the same timeframe Brewers and get back to me with a new opinion

American Family Field doesn't have a layout for football. If you can fit a field in its footprint, the viewing angles would suck. There's not a venue that would work, not to mention the fact that there's no desire or ownership, as this is Packer territory.

EDIT - Oops, I meant to quote @ManillaToad Jeff Fisher was 142-120 with the Oilers/Titans. He was 31-45-1 with the Rams. 173-165-1 over 22 seasons. I don't know what you mean by 'a good coach for his era'.

This was NOT my first time at County Stadium, circa 1976. Lee May model first baseman's glove (I was an all glove no stick first baseman - no future for me). Brewer batting helmet and t-shirt - that was about as decked out as a fan could get back then. I'm pretty sure I kept score while watching the game. -
I assumed everyone was in on the joke that Jeff Fischer was pretty much a 7-9 record over the last few years of his career, yet he kept getting jobs. I guess not.

No problem with that take, but the post to which I reacted was 'bah it's boring', not 'it's an issue of safety'. As to the players taking that risk, they're free to beg out due to injury, aren't they? They must be making some money from it as well. As far as it being a traveshamockery - it's not like they let a player from the NFC snap the ball to the AFC quarterback or anything heinous like that -

Does it make money for the NFL? That's why it continues. Don't watch it if you don't like it. I don't. They don't care -
Whether a shred of connection to being possible exists doesn't mean someone won't believe it to be possible.

Quoting while in phone has been goofy lately. The quoted post will randomly highlight, which renders the keyboard inaccessible. Anybody else? Edit - Holy crap all sorts of extra carriage returns [old guy reference] -

Not so fast. The 49ers are only down 7-0 after EVERYTHING went against them in the first quarter. -
Thanks for this. I didn't think they ever had a cap to match that batting helmet. I know the Brewers had a similar helmet issue with a white-paneled version that never had a matching hat. Who else has done that?
