  1. I think they (adidas) don't want to put in the work. It's why they use 1-3 templates instead of the entire catalog when designing uniforms. It's also much easier to create 4-6 special one off designs that get used by everyone than to have each team have their own prematch shirts.
  2. Still a way to go until they look like a North Korean general. Hopefully they can keep improving, especially since they have extra first round picks for two more years.
  3. This has the same issues as Roma, with the double green colors not being separate enough from each other. The wordmarks and numbers probably could use a white outline for legibility. On the maroon parts they disappear.
  4. As long as he takes it seriously, and according to local news he is, this could be an interesting kicker competition.
  5. A couple of the 2024 keeper kits
  6. That's disappointing if everyone is getting the same jersey, just in different colors.
  7. New Chicago Fire home shirt. UPDATE: It's been debunked by the club.
  8. San Antonio should always be an option, but we have an updated indoor stadium, as well as that dumpy, outdoor stadium.
  9. My concern with Ottawa is what would be the fallout for Atletico Madrid? Would they pull up stakes, and would there be anyone that can come in and take that team over?
  10. EA Sports leaked some NWSL jerseys as well. That Portland home shirt is so disappointing, if true. Did the Washington Spirit officially recolor their logo? Because they will not be wearing red or blue this year. 2023-2024 home jersey with iridescent logos. 2023-2024 Orlando Pride home jersey. At least they won't clash with Houston if they wear their primary kits. The move towards some women's teams trying to eliminate white shorts, I think Orlando has the best group of uniforms this year, for the moment.
  11. It works for teams with smaller crests and no stars, but I'm not really a fan of stacking everything. For Miami it looks even worse because they're only using the Royal Carribean logo instead of the wordmark.
  12. I wonder if these teams would be better off transitioning over to the USL if the league can't take care of them. It's almost a like for like move in terms of TV/streaming and competitiveness if they have to make that change, isn't it?
  13. It could be a case of EA Sports just using the previous color palette and not adjusting it to match the new logo. It could also be a case of the uniform being decided ahead of the logo change. Unfortunately that ship is staying in the harbor as long as adidas and Nike control the major sports in the United States. That kit is one of the few times that the requirement to have the backs be plain sucks.
  14. As much as local businesses news likes to talk about football teams here in San Antonio, no one is talking about another team playing here other than the Gunslingers.
  15. Hopefully this means Canada can get a better rate for their games, since they are losing money left and right.
  16. It's been done before, so there's precedent. And Harbaugh is as hot a hire as weather on Neptune. He brings a tainted championship trophy and that's about it.
  17. DTR is not going anywhere, but I think realistically he'll need more seasoning. PJ Walker probably won't be back.
  18. It makes sense to have it from a league branding standpoint, especially if they have a different court for the playoffs and championship.
  19. I hope that Cleveland does this, but I also think they can't afford to pay him for a whole season unless there's a massive restructure deal on Watson's salary as well. It's also likely that they try to bring back Jacoby Brissett if they can't get that done. Even Snyder didn't throw a fit at the fans, but both of those guys have proven that money doesn't buy business sense.
  20. If the league decides he has to sit because the NCAA hits him with sanctions, then what is he bringing to the team other than drama? Not saying it's guaranteed to occur, but if Warren was told there's a pretty good chance that Michigan, and Harbaugh, are getting hammered there's no reason to bring him in. Getting better players in, is more important than losing the wildcard every other year. Other than possibly bringing in Flacco for a short term carryover, I don't see anyone that helps the Vikings out. Mayfield possibly, but I'd expect Tampa Bay to lock him in for at least 3 years. By the time they draft who will be available that can step in immediately? J.J. McCarthy should be available, but I can't see him being a day one starter on the Vikings.
  21. Watching CFL YouTube videos and saw that San Antonio's Kay Stephenson was wearing the Starter jackets from Sacramento, with the names and logos missing for the 1995 South Final at Baltimore. As much time as they had to get those made, I'm surprised this still happened. They still had other gear with the proper colors, names and logos on them.
  22. It always seemed weird to me that Michigan was trying to keep Harbaugh on campus when it was always likely he was going to face some more punishment from the NCAA from multiple issues. But I guess when the guy gets you an undisputed championship you have to back the truck up and pay him how much is he worth. Sherrone Moore is a good stop gap until they find someone that is a bigger profile. I just don't think Moore is going to last 2 years there. I think a few Big XII schools do this as well. Isn't there a D2 school that has some crazy sponsors for their coaches?
