After giving it some thought, a GM would want to sign the best available and drop the worst available, so rule 1.6 is hereby amended to read "When signing free agents, you must drop a player of the same position."

I will also post rules regarding the rookie draft as well as any expansion drafts that may happen. Once the season begins, rule 5.1 – "Changes to the WHL rulebook will be voted on by all the GMs and settled by a simple majority of 51%." will take effect.

What does this mean? Can I not release 4th line players so I can pick up a 2nd liner?

Alright folks, we have 6 hours left to sign up for a team, if not, GMs will be given the option of signing up for a second team in the order they signed up for the first. PM me if you are a GM and you are NOT interested in a second team.

Also, submit your lineups tomorrow. The simulation begins Sunday! Woohoo!

JCR, this project looks awesome! I think I'd like to give it a shot. I'll take the Copenhagen Hammers.

Hold on, I just PM'd @JCRGraphix to take Winnipeg.

Instead, I'll take Helsinki, JCR. Okay?

Sorry about the mix-up. Yes you can have Helsinki. Also, since you sent in your PM first, you have the option of taking on one of the expansion teams this off-season as well.

Two big bits of news.

1: I will be making the schedule editable on google docs so that GMs can post their starting goalies for each matchup.

2: HUGE TRADE:

BOSTON trades F Joe Sakic to
SEATTLE for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Round Draft Picks

BOSTON signs F Dave Hannan
