Roger Clemente
I was inspired to try this after looking at a Coca-Cola can with the Oilers jerseys on them. Utilizing the Capitals shimmery bronze instead of the Oilers basic copper and some line adjustments. Give it more of a metallic feel.Copy and paste:http://www.geocities.com/rogerclemente_isx...ms/Oilers-7.gifhttp://www.geocities.com/rogerclemente_isx...ms/Oilers-8.gif--Roger "Time?" Clemente. Phil
That is cool. I like very much, much more than their current use of red/bronze.As always, fantastic work from Roger Clemente.

webdav
It would make their sweaters look great if they come back to eliminate the Stars.

yh
Very good uniforms. I like the shiny copper better than the bronze which is saying something because I really like the bronze.
Roger Clemente
Thank you people for the great enthusiasm. I do like the uniforms they have, I just wanted to make the copper stand out more. I do think that there is a bit too much copper in the numbers on the blue one, but then I realized that the blue jerseys originally had orange numbers. Plus the Capitals have bronze numbers on their black jersey.yhollander, I am however puzzled by your words. I'm not sure which color you're referring to when you say "shiny copper"...the Captials dazzle (which is officially labelled bronze) or the Oilers current standard copper? (I guess I'm being a bit picky on this)--Roger "Time?" Clemente.
STL FANATIC
I like it, because it seems orangish, which gives it that Gretzky-Messier-everyone else dynasty feel to it...and it is metallic and cool.
yh
Roger, sorry to be confusing. I prefer your choice of color, the bronze dazzle which I mistook for copper. I happen to like the Oilers' present color choices, however yours are even better. I think STL FAN nailed it on the head with the comparison to the orange of Edmonton's glory years. CDunn
Those are really cool. I also like how the really thin red lines are a little thicker. How did you give the copper that shimmering effect? It looks great.
