The plain white does seem to invoke the M&M vibe more than the red/white version. 2 Quote Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half. Durden
I shouldn't be surprised with how bad these new uniforms look given the fact that it's Nike who did the design. It looks like Nike ripped off the 2012 crappy “M” Marlins logo. Not much is good about any of these new uniforms. Disappointing.

They used a local designer, who, according to his LinkedIn, hasn't been affiliated with Nike for more than 3 years. https://www.linkedin.com/in/matthew-wolff-31117840/ https://twitter.com/wolffmatt "The Twins turned to Minneapolis-raised designer Matthew Wolff for their new look" https://news.sportslogos.net/2022/11/18/minnesota-twins-unveil-new-uniforms-a-modern-look-inspired-by-the-past/baseball/ 1 Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." I still don't like the blandness of the rebrand. Garbage compared to what they had.

The last look was the garbage look. 6 jerseys, all in completely different styles: White with gold drop shadow on wordmark and numbers, no number on front Red with gold outline on chest logo, gold drop shadow on back, no number on front Navy blue with gold outline on throwback wordmark, gold outline on back, no number on front Throwback powder blue Road grey with no only neck and sleeve piping, number on front Road navy with placket piping and different sleeve piping, number on front Absolute disjointed mess of a previous brand. The three home uniforms all used gold in completely different and inconsistent fashions. Both road uniforms had different piping styles. Basically nothing connecting both the home and road looks. Good riddance to the old look. My only complaint is them ditching powder blue, but I can see them adding a new powder uniform in a season or two. 7 Quote Sorry, I'm on an iPad
The_Admiral
For a team that has never been able to live down a short-lived "Dairy Queen" alternate, the plain red single-layer script on white is the most Dairy Queen-looking thing they've ever done. This set does so many things that I hate: being one color at home and another on the road, road pinstripes that don't even carry over from home pinstripes, two competing hat logos, single-layer elements that don't need to be. Some things are better, others are worse; lateral move from the last lousy set. 3 Quote ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
