how many pitchers have had there arm snap. i remember a few years a go, a d-ray's arm snapped. it did it twice, in the same arm.

I think I remember a pitcher coming back from some sort of cancer, and on his first night back he threw a pitch and snapped his arm in two places. I remember the highlights playing both the sound of his arm snapping and his screams of agony, but his name escapes me. I think it was a pitcher for the Dodgers but I cannot be sure, I just remebered they kept playing the same grusome clip over and over.

I think the pitcher was Dravecky who had cancer. His arm snapped, and I think he had to have hit amputated.

edit: It was second game back, and it happened in Montreal. The cancer/tumor came back and he had to have his arm amputated.

The arm became so fragile before it was anputated it was broken during the celeberation for winning the pennant in 1989.
