gashouser27
I guess the Cowboys are going to induct Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin into their "Ring of Honor" at the same time. The talk was in this the best QB-RB-WR trio of all time?Their are some obvious other great ones on great teams but it is a nice discussion topic.Which one is the best? NJTank
Montana-Rice-Craig have to be considred up there.Montana was better than Aikman and Rice the best ever. Craig was not as good as Smith but hes about equal to Irvin in he shoudl be in the Hall. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
sj32
The two that came to my mind were Bradshaw-Franco & Swann or Stallworth and Staubach, Dorsett & Drew Pearson. Another one from the 70s would be Griese, Csonka and Warfield.
WJMorris3
One to look for in the future would be Manning, James, and Harrison. We'll see how that one turns out.
gashouser27
Montana-Rice-Craig is an interesting one . Maybe the best QB and WR of all time. Craig was a 1000/1000 guy one year.An old school one was Unitas - Berry - MooreYeah I think Manning-James-Harrison have the stats but need to win somethingWhat about Kelly-Thomas- Reed (Buffalo)? STL FANATIC
I know I'm always calling on my home teams, and I know their "reign" was (cut unfairly) short, but...Warner-Faulk-Bruce was pretty amazing for about 3 years. lucky
I'm going with Hugh Millen-John Stephens-Hart Lee Dykes. The way they streaked down the field in their pink jerseys, zigging and zagging their way to 58 points per game has to put them ahead of the Cowboys trio.Wait, I'm thinking of my Tecmo season. Yeah do that. Do exactly THAT
Nick 1733
May not be as obvious but a good one, not the best, I think would be John Elway-Terrell Davis-Rod Smith from '95-'98. Davis could have been one of the best backs the NFL has ever seen. Smith is one of the most underrated recievers in NFL history.
