Two things to note.

1. The deadline was extended until the end of this coming weekend.

2. We can't use existing logos that belong to other sporting bodies. Eg England soccer. But we can use National logo, such as the Belgian lion or German Eagle.

Oh, and I've got a site.

I'm glad it was extended. I'm having so much fun doing this, and I still will have even if none of my jumpers get selected. I'll tell you what, ARI is going to have a tough choice for each, there are some good designs here!

Of course, going out and getting Madden is going to slow down my want to make jumpers when I get home from work... heeheehee...

Well, if they don't select them, they have to develop one themselves, it's hard to think they'd look at what we've done and think they could do better.

And they're reading this thread (g'day Clarkey) so they know how we feel.

Some may require slight modification, but all in all, I can't see why they won't deliver on their promise.

well its not actually the english soccer logo - what it is is the british lions - there is a subtle difference in the soccer design - the lions are tapered to fit into the shield while mine are the same size, just three in a row. they are the british lions - three lions, lying flat horizontally - so i feel that i have complied with your rules, but i can modify that if you like. England uses the same lion for the English Cricket Board, so they are in fact a national symbol. Also they have the stylized roses in the soccer crest, while mine does not. Again, if you feel that this is in violation of the rules, i will modify it. the other part of the design is the an English tudor rose. and when i said that the design was based loosely on England soccer, i meant the kits, not so much the logo. those three lions are also in the royal standard for the queen and the royal coat of arms of the united kingdom.

But it's the exact same design as the soccer jersey, I think.  Or so it looks.

i admitted, its very similar - but the numbers are different, and the points are different - plus the england soccer jerseys dont say england on them. i also deliberately made the manufacturer umbro as a nod to the soccer team.

my design has the point going much farther down the jersey, as well as the collar point (which is mesh in my design as opposed to cloth on the soccer jersey) goes onto the opposite side of the neck - the soccer jersey does not. the vertical point does not continue onto the back of the jumper, as it does in the soccer kit. also england's home soccer shorts are navy blue, and dont have a point like mine does. my design also encorporates much more navy blue than the soccer design. so like i said - inspired, not necessarily copied.

OK, it's not exactly the same.

But it's so similar to an untrained eye that while it looks very nice, it's most unlikely it would be chosen as a potential uniform, because of the similarities.

It reminds me of England Rugby meets England Soccer.

And Aussie Rules is a far better game than both.

This is the link to selected designs for all countries.

I hope none of you mind, we have designed them merely to provide an example of what can be done. Of course, it is up to each of you to come up with your own designs. Denmark, Spain, Ireland and Sweden already have their own national jumpers, we have included designs for these countries purely as an example.

That's a quote from the letter I got explaining those designs. Great work all of you!!!
