The funny thing is that the NHL has said for quite a while now that there will be no '06 All-Star Game and instead players go to the Olympics, yet on Pheonix's official team site they still have this logo posted possibly misleading any fans who are out of the loop.I know it's just their host logo and that is different from any final all star game logo, but still found this to be kind of amusing. Blackjack76 Posted August 7, 2005 Share Posted August 7, 2005 While this is an old logo, I find it interesting that the Coyotes changed the colors on the NHL Shield to reflect the new silver color set, and not the orange that had previous been displayed on the website. I think that logo always had the silver shield. The NHL had a silver version of the old logo before the lockout and logo change. You think they haven't taken it down because of the situation with the Russain and Czech leagues which may cause the NHL not to be part of the olympics this year. No they stage the game with ringers--Coyotes vs the NHL--and the ringers are not very good, Coyotes whip their butts and tickset sales soar!
