But this has been bugging me for a while.If they're called the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the maple leaf on the Canadian flag is red, why is their uniform blue?Now that I've gotten into this, I thought this would be a good idea for my first official concept.The Toronto RED Maple Leafs: in both Fuzzy-Leaf and Modern-Leaf Versions!Sorry about the size. Phil Posted September 5, 2003 Share Posted September 5, 2003 Agreed, Mockba.Although they would make for an interesting Team Canada jersey, they can't top the ones from I think the '95 Juniors (the one with the flag effect on the bottom trim... beauty). Plus it's a little to bright of a red....and the Leafs are blue in colour because real maple leaves are green in colour! IT JUST MAKES SENSE, DARNIT!
