After a season like that, I don't know if they can duplicate or better what they have accomplished. The feelings around here are not only will the bus go to the hall, but Cowher has cememented his spot in going to the hall as well. Their goals going into this were 3 fold...1) Win one for the Bus (no ring, and the hall is meaningless)...accomplished2) Win one for the Coach (same thing, no ring and he will still go on being known as the coach who was great in the regular season, but couldn't win the brass ring. Ex. Marty Shottenheimer)...accomplished3) Win one for the Rooney's (Whether Rooney wants to admit it or not, Cowher was on the hot seat. This one makes this franchise a historic one.)...accomplishedWhat's left? That remains to be seen. To be continuedBuy or Sell...Has football surplanted Baseball as america's pastime? Though he's only 42 home runs away, I think Bonds' knee will bother him so much, he won't be nearly as effective as he once was. Injuries will most likely force him from the game before he can break the record. Even if he is healthy enough to break the record, I think he'll quit when he ties Aaron. He's gone on record as saying that he doesn't want to take away any light from Aaron because Aaron was underappreciated in baseball history, though I don't know if that means he'll won't try to break the record. Bonds will pass Babe Ruth, however.
