Gary Posted January 28, 2006 Share Posted January 28, 2006 With the Best Minor League Logo that has come along, of course there has to be a worst minor league logo in sports, my picks are the Toledo Storm of the ECHL and for baseball the Fresno Grizzlies(seriously how did they go from a slashing logo to a stained glass church looking golf logo?) They have had that logo for quite some time, how about something newBasketball- Most ABA logos. Needless to say I was absolutely dumbfounded. At least they ranked the Toledo Storm worst. Why don't they have it flying under, then up and across the word Aeros.Baseball's worst logo would have to be the Montgomery Biscuits. IMO.This one was actually ranked as one of the Top 3 Minor League hockey logos one year by the Hockey News. The Wolves won it three years in a row. And finished third the final year the had the contest, behind Rochester (this being just after Sept.-11th, also.) and the Moose. I like the Amerks classic logo and really like the new ticked off Moose logo. Teams seem to change their logos for merchandising bucks to often. But, for the Wolves why mess with perfection. Man, it must be really hard to have any self-respect at all for atheletes to wear some of this stuff. Kane County may look like it's made by a third grader, but at least it is simple, clean and to the point. Some of these look like monsters I did draw in third grade.
