Neon_Matrix
Okay, so who's gonna be the first to post the Roloson Edmonton jersey?During the offseason, I was coming here frequently to see all the newly signed players in their new jerseys. Hope to see that again. You know you have insomnia when... but hey, who am I to complain, I havn't slept yet!Good looking stuff, the Theodore jersey is kinda...creepy...but I'm sure it was for anyone to see Roy 33 on something not blue, red and white, along with Gretzky to be on black and white...On the plus side, Canadiens fans no longer have to do this when Theo is playing in net... Because Korbyn Is Colour Blind, My Signature Is Now Idiot Proof - Thanks Again Braden!!Go Leafs Go!
Shumway
Seeing as how Theodore can't even play for another month at best, who the hell is Colorado's one-two goaltending tandem until then?--Roger "Time?" Clemente. Prolly Peter Budaj and Vitaly Kolnesik Budaj really impressed me at the Olympics. He's not a superstar yet, but the kid's got some skills....and, as stated before, the Avs have had some success with former Habs goalies. I saw Budaj play all of last year when I had season tix. in Hershey. He's not a great goalie, but with a decent D in front of him, he should do alright. Then again, Brett Clark's still going to be in front of him. He wasn't that great in Hershey, I can only imagine he's still terrible in the show. BCBoy
Our most 'trustful' friend Eklund over at Hockeybuzz.com (who a month ago talked about Theo to Colo) claims Witt is a Predator and Cujo will be in Vancouver. He is sometimes hit on trades, but mostly a miss, so take it how you like. I sure hope he is right. Not that I like CuJo, but he's a better backup than Maxime Oulett. Come playoff time, if we infact, get CuJo, we will have a guy we can go to if Auld struggles, but hopefully we won't have to do that. On the flip side, I don't see this trade going through because Phoenix has already had their mini-fire sale and CuJo is only $800,00 so I expect them to keep him around.Colorado is taking a HUGE gamble with Budaj in net though. I think he's one step down from Aebischer, and in the time where every Northwestern team needs to win or else they could risk getting a low seed or not even making the playoffs. I think Colorado will end up anywhere from a 6-8 seed in the conference now, but what a questionable call this would be if they failed to make the playoffs OR if Theodore bombs it in the playoffs. HatCityEnforcer
The Kings have acquired Mark Parrish and Brent Sopel from the Islanders for something not worth printing in a headline.--Roger "Time?" Clemente. 1st rounders Denis Grebeshkov and Jeff Tambellini and a conditional pick. Grebeshkov will be awesome remember that name. Funny, after talking to a good bud of mine that has seasons for the Monarchs, he painted a vastly different picture of Grebeshkov. Basically, I think he was doing cartwheels when he found out he was in the deal ...he was more upset about Tambellini going than anything. FANTASY TEAMSHousatonic U. jkrdevil
Jeff Friesen to Anaheim for a draft pick. If I recall Friesen hated his first stint there which led to him being traded to New Jersey where he showboated a bit during the Finals against the Ducks. Although there is a new coach and GM there now.
