I wouldn't trade Umberger, even if the fans here love Recchi. Too valuable for the future core nucleus. Why the hell did Philly let him go in the first place? Cap space probably. Can't remember. I forget if his contract was also bought out like LeClair and Amonte. He signed w/ Pittsburgh right before the lockout. The Flyers weren't going to pay him what he wanted for a player of his age, and he wanted to play with Lemieux again. JeffB I dont think I would have dealt 2 picks for a 37 year old goalie,but at least they have a #1 now Alot of the "experts" believe that this draft falls off after the top 10-12,and your probally lookin at a mid to late teens pick.Personally i think there are a few intresting prospect dmen around at that point though,so i guess it depends on where you wanna go. Grebeshkov will be awesome remember that name. were actually getting something in return this time. sopel is useless and parrish is a UFA, (i think). Clemente. Prolly Peter Budaj and Vitaly Kolnesik Budaj really impressed me at the Olympics.
