Okay, so who's gonna be the first to post the Roloson Edmonton jersey?

During the offseason, I was coming here frequently to see all the newly signed players in their new jerseys. Hope to see that again.

Well, if anyone does, Roloson will wear #35 in Edmonton as Jussi Markkanen wears #30, Roloson's old number in Minnesota.

Tomorrow night, I'll probably do them all.

Why would anyone who wants to be a serious contender actually want Curtis Joseph? The guy has never proven himself playoff worthy. He's a good, but not a great goaltender.

In general, fans on the Wild's message board are elated to get a first round draft choice for a 37 year old goaltender.

I think just about every playoff team is interested in Olli Jokinen, including my Rangers. Whoever actually gets him will be getting a monster defenseman.

I hope that was a typo.

Looks like I got too far ahead of myself thinking about getting Leetch back and forgot to finish my sentence about Jokinen.

Monster CENTER... monster CENTER...

:P Hey, it's alright, everyone makes mistakes.

Anyways, great trade for the Wild. Getting a 1st rounder for a goalie who slipped basically into a backup role. Upgrade for the Oilers, but this aint getting them to the finals...

Other trades...

TORONTO gets: another old vet, Luke Richardson

COLUMBUS gets: 5th round draft pick

SAN JOSE gets: Ville Nieminen

NEW YORK gets: 3rd round draft pick

What exactly is Toronto thinking? Unless they got him because McCabe is on the verge of being traded, I don't see the point of this move.

I know Leaf fans who actually would like to have Luke Richardson back. I think they'll be pleasently surprised. They'll be utterly thrilled is McCabe does :censored: off.

The Kings have acquired Mark Parrish and Brent Sopel from the Islanders for something not worth printing in a headline.

Biggest trade of the day!

Watch out for Colorado now:

COLORADO gets: Jose Theodore

MONTREAL gets: David Aebischer

Huet's been the #1 guy in Montreal, so this is a good trade for both sides.

Montreal trades a goalie to Colorado.... Deja vu anyone?

I saw, I came, I left.

I just told the news to my friend who's a die-hard Habs fan. He wasn't pleased. I don't see it as a bad deal, being a semi-Habs fan(they're my 2nd team). Aebischer's a solid goalie, as is Jose. Jose's just having a rough year.

I still can't believe the Mon-Col trade.

Anyways, reports say the Flyers might have to give up Umberger for Recchi if they want him. I say, no way. I wouldn't trade Umberger, even if the fans here love Recchi. Too valuable for the future core nucleus.

Why the hell did Philly let him go in the first place?

1st rounders Denis Grebeshkov and Jeff Tambellini and a conditional pick.

Grebeshkov will be awesome remember that name.

Cap space probably. Can't remember. I forget if his contract was also bought out like LeClair and Amonte.
