CFSize24
http://www.jayski.com/teams/29.htmA sad day as I can recall when the 3 went from Wrangler to Goodwrench. I'm sure the financial struggles at GM had everything to do with this. I just hope that this isnt the first step in GM pulling out of Cup all together. Cyclopsis Joe
Factory cars don't work in NASCAR. Not anymore, anyway. GM won't leave NASCAR any time soon, though. Chevrolet is the winningest make in NASCAR, period. I don't speak for democrats, democrats don't speak for me.
DGivens87
Wow, I guess it was just a matter of time...GM's stock has just been tanking it lately. Gee, I wonder why... But seriously, this sucks. I'll get over it, but it's just sad to see the end of an era in NASCAR, especially behind such a dominant car, and the most dominant driver of its time in Dale Earnhardt. The transition to Reese's/Hershey's is a good choice, since Kevin Harvick has been running these sponsors in Busch for the past 3 years or so. So it'll make the transition a little smoother. But it just won't be the same without that GM Goodwrench car on the track. A large cheese pizza, just for me.New England's source for soccer newsAnd hey, I made it to ESPN!
TBGKon
all in all this may be a good idea, so that Goodwrench is always remembered with Dale Sr. I wonder who Harvick's other co-sponsor will be.

Fred T. Jane
What's NASCAR? [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. Cyclopsis Joe
GM (That's General Motors) is not a "small company". So Tank, what the hell are you talking about? I don't speak for democrats, democrats don't speak for me.

Do you get worked up over billboards on Skates, or billboards in cleats? Sorry. It's a NASCAR thread, don't like NASCAR, don't reply. Just like a WWE thread or a Baseball thread or a NHL thread. I'm not quite a diehard, but I enjoy watching.I thought it seemed weird when STP left the 43. It's weird that GM is leaving NASCAR, but it'd be weirder if GM was leaving the 3. But since 3 is unofficially, at least for now, retired, that makes it a little less weird.Regardless, I'm not sure sad is a word I'd personally use for it. Sponsors in NASCAR are just like team colors in any other sport.GM Goodwrench leaving this team would be like the Boston Celtics changing from green and white to red and gold. Save the slugalo.
