If the Gators get in the NC it will show just how much of a crock piece of :censored: the BCS system is. Florida isnt worthy of getting shat on by Ohio State. If they go to the NC, ill be the worlds biggest Buckeyes fan untill they destroy the worthless losers of the University of Failures.

Sour grapes from the Tennessee fan? :P

But yeah, I do kinda agree. I mean, Michigan will be pissed off if they don't go to the 'ship, because their only loss came to the Buckeyes, and it was by 3, in Columbus. But Florida's been through absolute hell in the SEC, which is basically the best conference in the land from top to bottom. Example? Our sorry asses (Mississippi St.) beat Alabama, who nearly beat Auburn, who got whomped by Georgia, and who got slapped around by Florida. So yeah, if you can have only 1 loss in a conference like that, you should go.

But, like I said, Michigan's 1 loss came to Ohio State, by 3. If Florida holds on, then God have mercy on the voters, and the computers.

Sometimes I dont know what I love more. Being a Tennessee fan, or being a Florida hater. Fu*k the Gators.

My vote goes to Michigan since they didn't schedule Western Carolina. I've at least heard of everyone Michigan played this year.

Florida is nothing but a waste of everyone's valuable time. It makes me wanna puke that they could even be considered to play in the NC.

Eh, I've come to my decision on who I'd vote for.

I was leaning towards Michigan, but Tank proved the point that caught my eye, it was so beautifully and bluntly put: Michigan had their chance. That and Florida won the SEC, which means they won a conference, something that Michigan failed to do, albeit they were in the same conference as OSU.

So yeah, I'd vote for Florida.

Boise State should be in the National Championship game, because nobody has proven to be better than them.

But, since that isn't going to happen, Michigan has to make it. Yes, they "had their chance", but they're the only team that deserves it. Mich. beat Wisconsin and killed Notre Dame. They went into the Metrodome and doubled up the Chipmunks, they went into Happy Valley and stuffed the Nittany Lions rushing. Their only blemish came to a number one ranked Ohio State team, and it was by three points.

Screw the "they had their chance" BS; they're the second (third) best team in the country and they deserve to be in the championship.

If Michigan had scheduled Illinois or Perdue instead of Ohio State (lol) and beat them like we all know they would, Mich and OSU would be co-BigTen champs, and I don't think anybody would be doubting their right to be in the NCG.

Florida has two quality wins; Tennessee and Arkansas. They lost to #11 Auburn, and only won against South Carolina because USC beat themselves (penalties).

The two best teams are in the same conference - get over it.

Save the slugalo.

So because you dislike (or hate) them, they are not worthy of playing for the 'Ship? You do realize how small of a man this makes you look right?

Florida won their conference...the top-to-bottom strongest conference in the land year in and year out. When OSU won their National Championship after the 2002 season, they squeaked by in a couple of games in their regular season as well (Wisconsin, Penn State, and Purdue) and had the following nationally recognized powerhouses on their non-conference schedule: Cincinatti--who they barely beat, Kent State, and San Jose State.

Bottom line, all the games have been played now...no more what ifs. Florida is the champion of the best league in the country and also only lost one game to a team that will also be in the BCS, played the toughest schedule according to opponent winning percentage, and did I mention they actually won a conference this year?

The Gators have earned the right to get smoked by the Buckeys. :P

Florida beat LSU, the team likely playing in a BCS bowl. Florida lost to Auburn, who's likely heading to the Capital One or Outback Bowl.

But a nice observation of Florida, nonetheless....

Well, if you want to get down to it Michigan had the thougher schedule according to the numbers. Michigan's schedule was ranked 13th Florida's ranked 27th. Here it is look under the strength of schedule column.

Of course that is as of last week but I doubt the win over Arkansas moved them up over 10 places.

Guys, I've got the solution.

Just go ahead and crown Ohio State the champs now. No need for a national title game. OSU'll whip the :censored: out of whoever they play anyway, so why bother? :D

"The Buckeyes are who we thought they were! You want to crown them, go ahead and crown their a$$es"

I saw, I came, I left.

Oh Dennis Green, you goober.

I get the sarcasm Mac, but I wouldn't call a 3 point in at home a whipping "the :censored: out" of Michigan.

Never really looked at the way I root for sports teams as a measurement of my manhood, but hell yes. We all know my opinion is the most valuable around and should be accepted and conformed to by all. :P

Ehh, I dont really care anymore. I still say thay arent worthy, but then again with as wierd as this year has been, who really is worthy?

Yep, just like Miami versus Ohio State in the 2003 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.
