Oh, no way man.

I met the Professor many times over the years...every time he had a huge smile on his face and would sit and talk to anybody for as long as they wanted...always had great stories to tell.

I didn't even know he had lung cancer...tells you how much attention I pay to Nascar these days. RIP.

I met him at Watkins Glen 3 yrs ago and he even recognized me last summer at WGI. He was such a great guy at the track.

I'll miss you BP!

I was saddened to hear the news, as BP was one of my favorite color guys in NASCAR. He just gave you the feeling that you were watching the race with a buddy. He'll be missed for sure.

Say hi to Dale and Adam for us BP.

First Bobby Hamilton, now Benny Parsons. I have a bad feeling about this upcoming NASCAR season.

If it wasn't for Benny Parsons, there'd be a lot fewer NASCAR fans, that's for damn sure.

R.I.P., BP

Btw this is old hat for Notre Dame. Knits Rockne made up George Tip's death bed speech.
