Don
watch out Carolina, not only are we coming for your Division Title, but we are aiming to knock! you out! Caps/Canes Verizon Center April 1st. Sorry Panthers but we needed to beat you, Ottawa was too damn worthless to beat Boston for us "I don't understand where you got this idea so deeply ingrained in your head (that this world) is something that you must impress, cause I couldn't care less"http://keepdcunited.org

BrySmalls
If the Caps and Pens meet in the playoffs I will cry tears of nostalgic joy.If that happens, wonder if all the games would go on NBC and/or VS.
SteveR
Caps wipe out 'Canes 4-1. Teams are tied with two games left -- Carolina holds each of the first three tiebreakers so Washington has to have more points to get the title. The teams each have two home games left -- against the same opponents and in the same order:WED 4/2 -- 'Ning @ 'CanesTHU 4/3 -- 'Ning @ CapsFRI 4/4 -- Panthers @ 'CanesSAT 4/5 -- Panthers @ CapsHopefully, there's a little bit of an edge in getting both teams on the back half of consecutive game nights. winters in buffalo
It all comes down to tonight. The Florida-Washington game will decide how Carolina and Washington finish #3 and #9. Caps win or make it to OT, and they win the division and the Canes are done.Caps lose in regulation, and the Canes are in, Caps are out.Go Caps! TFoA
Congrats to the Caps. They were the one team that I wanted (other than the Thrashers, of course) to win the division. Â Â
HedleyLamarr
Wow, the Canes are out. Surprised. The fact that it took the last game of the season to eliminate Carolina is amazing itself. They were missing Justin Williams for most of the year, Rod Brind'Amour for most of the second half, and other key players missing significant time. It's incredible they were in contention this long.....
