SouthernWebb04
That's a shame for Houston. They're finally clicking, and looking to be a power, and then this happens. I don't think they would have had a shot at the Championship game, but they certainly could have been a force in the first and second round. twitterNo Upside
DEAD!
.... does this mean Tracy McGrady won't get past the first round again?... I saw, I came, I left.

Audiodrama
Damn...this is a shame for the Rockets, who were finally starting to play up to their potential.
Starchild
George Karl is a very happy man right now. Without Yao I don't see how Houston keeps a playoff spot... meaning Denver slides back into at least the 8th seed. rams80
Yup...no second round for MacGrady, again. (cue T-Mac pouting face). Probably no playoffs, for that matter. TFoA
I was starting to think how outlandish that Houston, having gone on the tear that they're currently on right now, might miss the playoffs. Then I looked at the standings...Good Lord, 50 wins might get you a 6-8 seed. But yeah, even if Houston manages to make it to the playoffs...they're not getting past the first round, and like rams80 said, the T-Mac poutface will occur. I feel bad for that team, they were on a serious tear. Â Â

gingerbreadmann
That's to bad. Houston is my favorite Western Conference team; now I'll root a bit harder for them. I hope they can make the playoffs.
koizim
This should be especially sad for Rockets fans, not only because they are losing their center for the rest of the season, but also because when big men become injury prone, their careers can take a sharp downturn in only a few years.
