Waffles
I made a Houston Astros concept with the theme of "Back to the Future" (like a Retro-Futuristic kind of thing).Concept Version 1Then I ran it past Starchild (CCBoard user) and he suggested some changes. Hence:Concept Version 2Enjoy.
NJTank
Ouch those are very bad, but then again they are no worse then the infamous rainbow guts so if thats what you were going for you achieved it. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
Phil
Concept #2 is much more realistically planned. I actually like it. I don't know how good it would look on the field, but for a concept, it's kind of cool, playing on the retro Astros rainbow, while making it quite a bit more palatable for the rest of us.I don't know how you, United Waffles, or the rest of the viewers here feel, but I think I'd like it best if the rainbow stripes wouldn't wrap around to the back of the jersey... for some reason, I don't think that would look as good. I don't know if you ever thought of doing the backside view, but that's my 2 cents.
Braden
NICE! Very classy & stylish. Moving the logo to the right is much better IMO.
winters in buffalo
I like that second set. How about adding an orange hat?
Waffles
I don't know how you, United Waffles, or the rest of the viewers here feel, but I think I'd like it best if the rainbow stripes wouldn't wrap around to the back of the jersey...I was trying to figure out what I'd do and I wasn't too sure myself...I was leaning towards including them and putting the number in another star, but my template doesn't have a back and it'd probably look pretty tacky. Waffles
I like that second set. How about adding an orange hat?I was thinking of that, but it would've meant changing the star color and it didn't look too hot.
KCScout76
Well, with any concept you learn to take criticism. IMO (in my opinion) I like the rainbow & blue jerseys. They are clean and neat. For sure they would be something for the future - very nice work. I like your style Waffle Man! Stampman
I kind of like them--and the second version looks better for baseball--the loogs look better on one side when a logo is used. STL FANATIC
I love this. The stripes not only date back to the rainbows, but I also see them dating back to the shooting star jerseys. I know the A fits perfectly to the star, but for the hat, how about making it an H? JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
the_cynic
It's a pretty good looking retro style. I don't think anyone would ever go for something like this as the primaries but it's a great concept! Waffles
I know the A fits perfectly to the star, but for the hat, how about making it an H?Actually, the A started as an H as a hat logo as a revision of their old logo and I put the A in on a whim...and the rest is history... STL FANATIC
I'd still like to see it as an H on the hat. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT

STL FANATIC
Yep, I love it. Hats of version three with jerseys of version two, and I think there is a realistic winner. Version one could work as a pullover. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT
CZzyzx41
I think as jerseys they wouldn't work. I like the retro idea though and I think these would work as AWESOME retro cotton t-shirts. -DanielCheck Out My Podcast! NJTank
This jersye does not work as a button down instead it should be a pullover like their jerseys in the 70s and 80s actually were. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
