World Champion Boston Celtics

I/We understand your point. España is the holder of the World Championship of basketball, but seriously - put the two on the court together and 9 times out of 10, the Celtics are going to win.

Only 9?

Paul Pierce might go down with a leg injury and be down for good, and Sam Cassell might get deported back to Mars.

But seriously, the Celtics would mollywock the Spanish national team, IMO.

That's besides the point since the Celtics are a club and Spain is an international team.

How about the Celtics vs. CSKA Moscow, current champions of the Euroleague a.k.a. the Champions League of basketball a.k.a. where most of our European NBAers have come from. That'll be interesting, but the Celtics would still own face.

Yeah, I love how people never take into consideration that the majority of National teams are spread throughout the NBA anyway, so that kinda nullifies the point. I mean sure if the USA basketball team played the Celtics it'd probably be pretty close. But you're essentially throwing a developed team at an All Star team. Anyone can win with an All Star team.

Please present the club basketball team that you think could vanquish the Boston Celtics in a 7 game series. And state why.

Otherwise...best team in the most talented basketball league in the world. That's why they say "world champions".

Or for that matter, the best national team that you think could take 'em.

Boston Celtics = World Champions of Basketball. Period.

/not a "Boston" fan

//not much of a basketball fan, really

///does like the Celtics though

Spain is the reigning world champion basketball team having won the World Championship title back in 2006. The Celtics are the NBA champions...

Oh the arrogance of American sports fans...

"Spain" is not a club basketball team. Try again.

But, they are a national team :P

I saw, I came, I left.

If Chaminade can beat Virginia, Equipo España can beat the Celtics.

But it would take half a miracle.
