If I weren't broke, I'd buy a Lakers NBA champions t-shirt. I'd expect to get an email immediately telling me my t-shirt won't arrive though, due to the, uh, shipment of said t-shirt to Myanmar or somewhere.

Oh, and I'm glad Ray Allen won a title. I could care less for the rest of em. I'm not a big fan of Boston, but as a Suns fan, I can't really say I like the Lakers. hey, at least it's not the f'n Spurs.

This for me is the best of times. I know there are many of you who will think of us Bostonians as spoiled and arrogant, but from one Bostonian I just feel plain lucky. I appreciate the fact that few cities have had the opportunities to enjoy sports on such a level as we have. One day this will pass and we will have mediocre teams again and many years of struggles. I just want to soak it in now and I hope that some other city can really enjoy what I, personally, have experienced.

To my fellow Celtics fans: Congratulations!!! I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did!!!

Gosh you'd think the Lakers would put up a fight in an elimination game. More proof that Kobe and Gasol will never win a title without a good center (maybe Bynum next year....) Oh well, is it too late for the Lakers to clean house again like the last finals loss? They obviously don't have what it takes right now. I would've been happy if ANY other team won the championship (even the San Antonio Flops)... but the CELTICS? Does God hate the rest of us?

Props to the Celtics for the buttwhooping, though this makes me hate Boston sports more than anything in the world right now.

Thank goodness for the Bruins! And may the Celts lose to LA in the Finals next year.

i could not say it any better, to see my 3 hometown teams(the bruins dont count till they make a effort, till then who are they??)win titles in less than 10 years is something i could never in my wildest dreams imangine, but i'm more glad for the big 3 they are good model players for the NBA and GREAT role modles for our youth, so is nice to see that the good guy DO win sometimes..............and YES i will chang my sig in the near future

Actually, I think you should keep it as a reminder of what Celtics had gone through before this past season and how much things can change in a year.

I saw, I came, I left.

Great to see KG finally win one! :D

My 2 favourite players (D-Wade and KG) wins the championship in the past 3 years... very nice! :P

And ironically, James Posey was somewhat instrumental in both championship runs...

What a interesting past 9 months for the city of Boston:

October 2007 - Red Sox win World Series

November 2007 - Revolution lose MLS Cup

February 2008 - Patriots lose Super Bowl

April 2008 - Bruins lose 7 game series to Canadiens

June 2008 - Celtics win NBA Championship

Classy, Boston fan. There are reasons for your reputation, you know.

Why, because I'm rubbing it in everyone's face? Because I'm being arrogant?

What if I said that was the defining moment of my team making the biggest comeback in Finals history which led to our first title in 22 years, which is the purpose of this thread?

Bob Kraft didn't really hold up his end of the bargain, lol. Ah well, I can't complain.
