Arabe Unido has got to be the most annoying team in the CCL right now. That team is a disgrace on the field.

In other news, the Crew have a shock 1-0 lead at Santos Laguna (MEX) in the early parts of the game. Could the Crew actually go into Mexico and pull off a W? If so, that'd be a huge win for not only the Crew, but for MLS as well. Lord knows they still need some huge wins in international competition.

EDIT: Scratch that, the goal is disallowed 3 minutes later. The announcer on CONCACAF TV said it best: "Only in the CONCACAF Champions League will you see this happen." The goal was disallowed because the guy who scored for the Crew had gone off earlier for an injury and wasn't allowed to come back on. He received a card. Oh, you wacky CONCACAF. It was the correct call, but still.

*waits for The Admiral to comment about how that sounds like the NHL*

Will this be a chapter in his follow-up book, Only in the Goddamned CONCACAF?

Santos ended up winning with seconds to go. MLS went 0-for-2 on the road last night after last week's success.

I read on Big Soccer that the MLS & USMNT are a combined 0-for-41 in Mexico against Mexican teams in matches that actually count. That is amazing.

What a disgrace the reffing was last night in Panama. I mean TFC and Arabe Unido both need to take some of the blame on their own shoulder, but things got out of control last night.

Just horrible.

It's no wonder CONCACAF isn't taken seriously on the world stage.

Cruz Azul and RSL need to get off the pitch, the swim class has it booked for right now, and they're getting angry.

Now you know they have to stay on long enough for Cruz Azul to win this game, do you really think CONCACAF wants to see an MLS team win in Mexico?

I'm getting this sinking feeling that it's going to be abandoned and ordered replayed.
