I wonder if it was more like "please don't shoot me clap clap clap-clap clap". I'd know, but you couldn't pay me enough to tune in to a Sixers game.Brilliant this is the first thing Philly fans did I actually like. I think that sends a message that you simply cannot tarnish the image of yourself, your teammates, your team and the entire National Basketball Association. But yeah, other than that, this is basically a vacation for the dude (unless he gets indicted.)That being said, he was due for a long injury anyway, so it's not like this messes up his schedule or anything. In all seriousness, the Wizards need to blow that team up & begin a rebuilding process. This was supposed to be the season that the Wizards contended for a title (Yes, seriously. Sporting News had them ranked #3 in preseason power rankings & more than a few publications had them winning the Southeast division & going deep into the playoffs. So much for that.), & instead they're slightly better than they were last year. It's time for them to start from scratch, & getting rid of Gil & that monster of a contract would be a start.
