#18 Stanford opened a 3 game set tonight at #3 Texas. The Cardinal lost 6-0. Stanford had started 4-0 with a 3 game sweep of Rice and a victory over Pacific.

#14 Arizona State(Baseball America) will have a down year, thanks to the departure of Pat Murphy. But they will still win the Pac-10 and make it to the World Series

Hopefully this will be the case...starting off the year 7-0 ain't bad. Hopefully our team can continue it's winning tradition after the departure of Coach Pat.
