The Imperfect
Bored as . Plan on taking MLB teams and finding their equivalent NBA teams, and using the NBA uniforms for the MLB team.First up is the Pittsburgh Pirates borrowing the uniform design of the Minnesota Timberwolves. raysox
Yeah, I was hoping a Milwaukee Beers concept was going to show up. But the Pirates looks pretty good. Though there are bats on the Pirates logo, so that wouldn't work. @MichaelDanger19 | Dribbble

ESTONES6
Is there any reason why you are matching random teams? SAINT IGNATIUS WILDCATS | CLEVELAND BROWNS | CLEVELAND CAVALIERS | CLEVELAND INDIANS | THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES
CJworks
Pirates: This looks absolutely amazing. I love the yellow alternate, as well as the incorperation of red. I do agree that you need to drop the bats as it would probably be more logical.Reds: Pretty bland, especially because of the one-side stripe. I know you're trying to follow the exact template, but it looks incomplete without the other stripe; I'd add it in. Cujo
I was mislead by this thread title. Very disappointed I'm not seeing something "BASEekball" (1998 movie) related.Doesn't mean we can't start quoting it.... . Beer? But this is real interesting stuff you got here. Nice job. CDixonDesign
Pirates look fantastic, Reds need some tweaking. Great idea!
mstucci
The Pirates one looks nice. The Reds one seems a little rushed. I suggest you ditch the drop shadow and add a home jersey with red pinstripes.
The Imperfect
Is there any reason why you are matching random teams?I matched the Pirates with the Timberwolves because they are both franchises who have had hardly any success.I matched the Reds with the Wizards because they are both bland organizations. Given the uniforms are bland as well. I'll probably try to spice it up more though haha
mets2k
Looks great. Would like to see one in Mets.
The Imperfect
Here's the Mets for you. I really like what I pulled out. When I thought of Mets equivalent in NBA I thought of the LA Clippers, so I combined their modern uniform and an earlier one from the eighties, specifically for the shorts. And obviously the alternate is inspired from their retired pin strip home jerseys

The Imperfect
Detroit Tigers based on the Golden State Warriors. Both lame duck teams with committed fan bases, similar color schemes, and lack of success.
CJworks
The Mets and Tigers both look pretty solid; not sure about the absence of black in the uniforms for New York, but otherwise it's pretty decent. The Imperfect
Alright so the Minnesota Twins in Phoenix Suns uniforms. I definitly took a leap with the Alternate Jersey, so I'll have to see the reaction. Criticism is much appreciated!

jakemon08
White Sox based off the New Jersey NetsTampa Bay Devil Rays based off the Oklahoma City Thunderthese are all very interesting to see, so keep 'em coming! the only criticism i have would be with the tampa bay ones. i mean, that's not even their name anymore, let alone their colors and logo. Lights Out
Yeah, but the Rays' current logo has a baseball diamond in it, which wouldn't work for a basketball team.My favorites thus far are the Mets and the (Devil) Rays. The Mets' colors work surprisingly well on the Clippers' current template, and I love that Rays alternate. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/

The Imperfect
Yeah, i know the Rays aren't even the Devil Rays anymore, it's not like I didn't make them the Devil Rays on purpose. Frankly, I thought their old logo was unique and wanted to roll with it. Seeming how the OKC have the only uniform that can support as many colors as Tampa has, I took the ball and ran with it. The Alternate Jersey was also a total leap in faith and figured I would do something unique with the color scheme.
