Fowler will probably be one of them in the future, but you have an offensive juggernaught in Lubo and then the rest are at best a team's number 4 defenseman. Lydman is probably the Ducks best defensive defenseman and he's definitely a solid #2/3 guy. But Lubo is a good #2/3 also. Fowler is a good #3 right now. Sbisa will be a good #3 but he's not up there yet. Then it's a huge dropoff to the revolving door of Mara, Sutton, and Lilja.Everyone knew that was going to be their problem this year. I mean the offense can be dominant, Hiller is streaky but very solid in net. The defense is just not up to task yet. And it sucks because I know the defense with Fowler, Sbisa, Lydman and Lubo is pretty decent, just not consistent. And I want to give time for the defensive prospects in the pipeline to get up, but in a year or two, the Ducks will lose their entire 2nd line of Selanne, Koivu, and Blake.
