Looks like they're back into that stride that gave them that 6 game winning streak last month.On the opposing view, something just looks off with the Capitals compared to the other times I've watched them. They just don't look like a confident group. There is a little hesitation to everything they do. What's their deal? Or is that something Caps fans want to know as well?And another Caps related note, the HBO 24/7 of the Winter Classic starts tonight. Looks to be another great edition of the 24/7 series.It is just an unfortunate outcome tonight. It was a good "back to basics" effort for the Caps, but it is amazing that the potential offensive prowess they possess has gone missing in action for quite some time now.I'm starting to believe that Boudreau may be gone before the Winter Classic. I think they played hard, forechecked aggressively, Boudreau MATCHED LINES pitting Steckel vs Getzlaf, and it worked, up until OT. It was a better effort, a few bounces didnt go their way. I'm still not convinced Boudreau should go (yet) even though I said so earlier in this thread. They've also earned two points in the last two games without leading. I don't like how things are going, but at least the December slide is going better than it did a year ago.And based on my newsfeed's reaction to 24/7 I am hyper-jealous of the people that have HBO.
