Its an authentic A's cap, made in America with Cool base stickers and all. The weird part? Its all green with a white "A's" logo. It was in my size (7 3/ so I bought it. It's actually a pretty cool hat and came up as the road hat on the receipt so I was just wondering if anybody had any info on this. Here's a picture I took with my Webcam I don't think the A's are changing their road caps this year and I hope they don't. But if what he says is right, then that does make me wonder. He doesn't mention anything about the New Era logo, so I'm not sure. Anyone have any ideas on this? Go A's! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bosrs1 Posted December 3, 2011 Share Posted December 3, 2011 It's probably just a "designer" cap similar to the ones they sell with the white A's in pink, kelly green, blue, etc... That said, it's very cool to see that cap back if even if not an on field authentic. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. The Lids near my place in Sacramento had one of those A's hats and also as of the other day had a black/blue Mets hat with the logo for the all black hat on it. FiddySicks Posted December 4, 2011 Share Posted December 4, 2011 When I worked for Lids a few years ago we would get a bunch of shipments of the new poly caps in that had mistakes. Wrong colored logos/bills/buttons/ect. Saw a Cards road with a red bill, a few Dodgers hats with blue bottons, Astros black cap with tan star, and we would get the occasional Angels authentic without any logo on the front. That was the weirdest one. How do you miss that as a quality control agent? Never found one in my size though, unfortunately. That would be one helluva mistake hat to have, though.
