Even if he really had mistaken her for a burglar, SA doesn't have a US-style "Castle Doctrine", so he'd still be in for manslaughter at least. Sadly I'm not sure taking a substance, that you chose to take knowing potential side effects is a much more of a defense in court( Than his I woke up heard someone in the washroom and fired 4 shots through the door, not looking to see if it was my girlfriend or even saying a simple " who's there? " I was so worried in my gated community that someone climbed through a second story window and locked themselves in the washroom ).By intending to take them it is your intent that you may expirience the known side effects, therefore making it your intent to suffer from appareant "Roid rage". Not to mention the fact it is still contested to whether roid rage is evening a real thing or a mass exageration and excuse for an idiot who can't control his temper.
