They aren't very "loveable" outside of St.louis and the KMOX footprint.

Mainly because of the "winners" thing though.

its playing off of the Cubs being nicknamed the "Lovable Losers"

That is pretty funny, a lie, but funny nonetheless.

We can't call the team with the second most World Series titles winners?

They are absolutely winners.

They are also spectacularly unlovable, though. Mostly for their insufferable fans, who proudly call themselves the "best in baseball".
